*~Kellan~*

So far, the game's not going anywhere. I've seen the snitch twice, yet the little thing desided to squirm its way out of my fingers.

"Hey, Kellan, how 'bout you let me get the snitch and you take a breather?" Harry's voice taunts from above.

Everybody says he's famous because he defeated the Dark Lord, but, he is very annoying.

Why couldn't have Voldemort chosen another person to try to defeat?

I smirk. I look up, and see the snitch, right above his left ear. I arrange my face in a puzzled expression, and say, "Or, you can go on being oblivious, and Slytherin will win."

I take off on my Nimbus 2001, and bump in to him before reaching for the snitch. A bludger whizzes by, and I duck and twist on my broom. Panting, I take off again, in pursuit of Harry. Shoot, he's almost got it! As a last stand, I put on speed, and do the unimaginable. I veer to the left, and bump in to him, sending him off course. I take the oppurtnity, and speed up, but he crashes me in to the left, as I suck in a breath.

This jackarse is not going to win.

Narrowing my eyes, I lean forward, and I zoom towards him. With one last shove, which almost gets him knocked off, I make a reach, and feel it. The snitch is in my grasp.

I lower to the ground, and pick up my broom with one hand, with the other I'm raising the snitch in the air.

The arena is dead silent. Is Harry really that ugly?

Ha.

"Yeah Kell!" Rowan's voice pierces through the silence, earning quite a few sniggers.

Then, the whole crowd erupts in cheers and thank God, I don't pass out. James runs toward me, and scoops me in to a hug.

Oh yeah, it's Valentines Day. So, I kiss him back, and ignore all of the wolf whistles, and the piercing stare of Maliah Sinpatrick, that stands out through the crowds.

Back in the common room, after everyone showered, a party is going on. You see, our dorms are kind of like the dungeons, but somehow, a seventh year has gone all out, and made it look like a party house. Like modern, and chic.

You see, the Quidditch team had a deal that we didn't have to do homework after this game, especially because it's Valentine's Day.

So the party began.

In the dorm, Ebony is fitting me with a dress, which for me, I really enjoy wearing. Its short, mid thigh, and is very form fitting, so it compliments my curves. It hangs tightly on the neck, and the sleeves go tightly just above my shoulders. Three words.

It is beautiful.

Leaving my hair down, I walk down, arm in arm with Ebony. We parade down the staircase, and reach the bottom which smells like alcohol, and sweat.

Ew.

"I'm going to find James," I tell Ebony. She nods her head, and continues to dance.

I push my way through the crowd, and walk by the broom closet. It's slightly open, and James is in there.

"Hey, J..."

I open the door, and find him kissing..Maliah. What?

"James?" I ask, my voice cracking at the end. Don't cry, don't cry, don't cry, maybe he's...drunk?

They pull apart, and James looks at me and sneers, "Kellan. What a surprise. Don't you see I'm busy?" He gestures to Maliah, who's smirking.

I bite my lip, as tears well in my eyes.
