Song of Chapter: Trampoline by The Unlikely Candidates
Jenna's POV
Besides scaring so many kids, It was as if nothing happened when I returned to Youth Group, everyone being concerned yet welcoming and thankful of my presence. Sadly, It was coming up to Christmas break, causing the Youth Ministry to close down for the time. I was truly going to miss seeing everyone, and especially jump around on stage with Tatum, but as it came to an end, we all organised a day out before going our own ways until the next year.
It was Zack's idea to take the whole senior group to a trampoline park, Tatum and myself being invited to be a leader for the girls. Everyone seemed to love the idea, the boys boasting about how they were going to kick each others butts in dodgeball.
It was only a few days until Tyler would be home, and I was kind of upset he'd be missing this, but there wasn't a spare appointment for any later. I was definitely excited, my stomach doing somersaults at the brief thought of it. I was finally going to see Tyler,
Feel him, Smell him, Embrace him, just be in his presence
"Are you ready?" Tatum jumped, her giddy self giving her so much energy it could be shared to three other people. We passed the special socks around to the groups, lining them up before releasing them to their own devices.
"Everyone! Listen here please!" I called, everyones eyes finally looking over to me. "So we have a party booking for dodgeball in half an hour, so be back here by then or we'll go without you"
The kids excitement grew even larger, looking as the previous session bounced around. There was about fifteen kids in both our groups, The boys being more in quantity than the girls. Zack smiled as we waited for the call to go over the speaker, wrapping his arm around Tatum.
"You guys excited?" He asked, looking over at the both of us
"I've never been to a trampoline park" I explained, both Zack and Tatum going wide eyed
"Never?" Tatum said shocked, "Well you'll have a blast!"
"Oh yeah, you'll definitely love today" Zack smirked, my brain wondering what exactly he meant by that

I was already out of breath after five minutes, A bunch of girls and I going over to jump in the cube pit. It was fun, but I totally lost some hair on the velcro in the process. I couldn't live up to everyone's flips and tricks, my body just falling in like a belly flop.
I couldn't help but think how this was truly how I wanted my life to be, just the joy of being an idiot with a group of people I felt comfortable with. I had never had that back in my hometown, the feeling of judgement soaked in the air. It was like I could finally breath clearly here, no weight being placed on my chest every second of the day. I just wanted to have fun with the people who loved me, and that's all that mattered.
Finally, It was time for dodgeball, The girls and boys splitting into gender teams. I chose a trampoline at the back, hoping maybe someone could protect me at the front. I was never that great at sports, especially dodgeball, usually being the first one out. I bounced lightly as the referee explained the rules, everyone eager to start.
"Does everyone understand?" he said, everyone chanting positively. "Okay, before we start, there's a few other people who'd like to join" he smiled, my head popping up in confusion as I looked at a cheekily smiled Tatum.
The ref stood back, opening the gate as two figures appeared behind him, the light shadowing their faces. I couldn't help but grow nervous, my stomach feeling sickly.
It was a matter of time before the figures came onto the trampolines, My heart skipping a beat as I saw their faces. I couldn't help but let out a little yelp, my hands covering my mouth as I let my eyes tear up lightly.
"Tyler!" I screamed, himself moving over to the boys team
"Hey Babe" he waved, his crooked teeth revealing in his large smile. Josh stood next to him, both of them standing at the front. His voice immediately sent shivers down my spine, my body wanting to run and jump on him.
"Go!" The ref screamed, myself startled as I tried to get myself back into a focused mind frame. The soft balls began to fly, A few people from the front of my team getting out almost instantly. I jumped over to the front trampoline, growing closer to Tyler as he piled multiple balls in his arms. I couldn't help but wipe tears of happiness as I played the game, all of us laughing as we taunted.
It didn't take long for both Tyler and Josh to wipe out the entire team, myself being the only one left. To be honest, I was panicking, all the balls being on the other side. I leaned over on my knees, Tyler doing the same as he held a ball between his palms. His smile explained it all, an ex basketball player was definitely going to get me in an instant.
Eventually, Tyler threw the ball with full force, it hitting against my calf as I tripped over my own feet, falling down onto the elastic. As I fell, Tyler's arms reached down to catch me, instead, his body fell right on top of mine. I laughed as I felt him crush over me, our bodies bouncing in the trampoline.
His arms wrapped around me tight as I giggled, Feeling his muscles tighten as if he was afraid of me leaving. It was real, He was real, Tyler was here holding me once again
"What are you doing here!" I smiled, pulling him off to see his face
"Surprise!" He laughed, pushing a strand of loose hair behind my ear, "I kind of lied about when the tour actually finished"
I held his head in both my hands, his cheeks warm as stroked them with my thumbs. Looking into his brown eyes made me realise how much I missed them, the speciality held in them being something indescribable. It was like a melted universe in there, something I could stare at for hours. I couldn't believe he was here, actually sitting right in front of me instead of a screen. I watched as his eyes looked into mine, both of them moving as he gazed in each one. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face, and neither could he, the whole group just watching us as we lied on the floor.
I finally pulled his lips onto mine, pushing against them so much, I could already feel a bruise come on. I had missed him so much, I forgot what he taste like, the euphoria of somewhat nostalgia washing over me.
"I missed you so much Tyler" I cried, the tears falling down my cheeks. Tyler looked up, kissing the wet stains away.
"I love you Bella, I never want to leave you again"
