3 weeks later Charlotte had started at a school very close to their house but she had left America on the equivalent to year 2 but she had to go into year 3 because that is where the children aged 8 and 9 were. The best part about this school was there was another kid there with Cf in the same year ad Charlotte. She always tried to throw him her brightest smile but he always seemed to be miserable. About 4 weeks after joining this school they had their first NHS appointment and her mom told them all about the new school and the kid there. Her smile soon faded when she found out that kids with cf could pass germs to each other that could give either of them o hospital visit. Simply moving class wouldn't cut it. So every day Charlotte and her mom had to walk just under a mile to get to her new school.
Then by the middle of year 5, Charlotte moved house and therefore schools. Again. Then all too soon year 6 was over and secondary school had started. Or should I say hell.
