Yo haha okay firstly sorry for not updating I don't want this thing to turn into something that never gets updates. I love writing and Dan and Phil but I've been busy (like super fucking busy Fml) so I haven't been able to write...
But it'll start being regular again <3

The woman in front of Dan grabbed her coffee and walked off, still staring and scrolling intently at her phone. As much as Dan would like to do the same, he was worried he'd clumsily walk into someone if he didn't pay attention to his surroundings.
He shuffled forward and glanced up from his shoes. Although Dans anxiety was getting better, he was still shy around strangers. He hated it about himself. He could think exactly what he wanted to say and how he wanted to say it, but he couldn't usually he the words out his mouth. Not without stutters, anyway.
"What can I get you today, sir?"
Immediately Dans eyebrow quieted up. Sir? That was an odd greeting. If he was more confident, he'd laugh and question the barista about it. But Dan just smiled politely and kept his eyes on the menu behind the barista.
"One...pumpkin spice latte please."
"Awesome. Name?"
"Dan. Daniel."
"Cute."
Now Dan had to look at the barista. When he did, he felt his breath hitch. The barista had black-blue hair and piercing sky blue eyes. He was unusual looking. All sharp angles and pointy features. Yet his face couldn't look more friendly. Dan was intrigued.
Yet he didn't say anything. Damn his lack of confidence.
"Here you go..." The barista said, handing Dan his steaming hot drink.
Dan smiled again, more brightly this time, and went to go sit at a free booth.
He was on his phone, relieved to be back on the internet where he belonged, when he felt a tap on his shoulder.
"Mind if I sit with you? I'm on a break and umm... you look lonely, I guess. And, like I said before, you're cute. "
It was the barista. He was out of his uniform and his hair was messy. He wore a constant easy smile that made Dan want to melt and laugh for no apparent reason.
But Dan just nodded and scooted up in the booth.
"Can I ask you something?"
Dan nodded slightly, taken aback by the baristas forwardness.
"Why haven't you asked me my name yet? I mean I know yours is Dan. You told me as much. And I've called you cute! Surely I must be at least slightly intriguing at this point!" Phil let out a short laugh at the end and looked at Dan with smiling eyes.
Dan however was frozen in place. His eyes were wide and he felt like he'd just been accused of something terrible.
The raven haired barista continued staring at Dan, waiting for a reaction, and when he realized Dan was genuinely confused and upset, he immediately looked concerned.
"I'm so sorry! I was just kidding. I didn't mean to make you feel bad." He looked panicked and put his head in his hands. "I always do this. Scare people away. I'm gonna die alone."
Dan let out a small giggle. He tried to hide it behind his hand but it soon turned into a full blown laughing session.
The barista looked up at Dan and a small smile played on his lips. "What?"
"You're so dramatic." Dan said, finishing off his laughing. "And I'm not upset. I mean I was. I have a bit of anxiety, you see. But now I'm fine. You seem nice. I feel more comfortable around you." Dan had no idea where all this was coming from, but it was true. He did feel more comfortable around him.
"So, are you going to ask me my name?" The barista's blue eyes sparkled with his regained confidence.
"How about we start over with proper introductions. I'm Dan, and you are?"
"Phil. Phil Lester."
"It's nice to meet you, Phil. It really is."
It really, really was.

Heyyyyy is this the sort of thing you guys would like to see a part two of? If so, let me know.
