SATURDAY 08th OCTOBER 2016

"Ugh! Dammit, alarm clock. Who the hell set it for 2 pm", I shrug while knocking it off the dresser.

I woke up with someone's arm around me.

"Awake already babe?", a voice says

I then took his arm off me and turned around.

"Eric? What are you doing here? And why am I naked", I ask

"I'm naked too, it's kinda obvious", he smiles

"I drank too much last night again didn't I?", I ask

"Yeah babe, you drank too much but it's fine", he says while kissing my neck.

"I don't get why you call me babe? All I want from you is sex so don't start getting personal", I demand while getting up.

"Not many people can take your verbal abuse you know.", he says while getting up.

"Put some clothes on and leave. I gotta go out", I say

"Turn around Josh.", he insists

I then turn around to see he's hiding something behind his back.

"Happy Birthday", he smiles

Oh right. It's my birthday. Eric took me out last night.

"That's very thoughtful of you but I don't need a gift", I nod

"Open it", he smiles

I open the small box to find a pendant.

"It's custom-made, it's an umbrella. I don't know what's your addiction to umbrellas. It's weird but it seems to mean a lot to you, so I thought you'd like it", he explains

"Oh. Wow... Thank you Eric.", I reply.

"I'll get out your hair now, if you don't have plans I'll take you to dinner later.", he says while grabbing his boxers.

I grabbed him, pushed on the bed then sat on top of him.

"No strings attached remember. You did promise me that, didn't u?", I ask

"Yeah. I guess I can't help it. Your too hot and I want you all to myself", he says while starting to kiss me.

"Oh really now", I said kissing him back.

I then pushed him off me and teased him.

"Goodbye Eric. Thank you again for the gift", I tease

I then headed to the shower. I was now 24, I lived in New York, currently unemployed, on Monday I start my new job. I'm finally living my dream. I've become a free-lancer writer but being a freelancer doesn't pay bills.

I finished showering and headed back to my room. It seemed that Eric was gone.

Eric Stone, age 27, he's CEO and founder of Stone Law Firm, one of the highest respected law firms in New York. I've known him for two years, Eric helped me through some dark times in my life.
