After a few hours of crying, randomly hugging, kissing, and talking we decided to go on with our relationship and do coupley things like sleep in the same bed...

I gazed over my shoulder at the clockm it was 2 AM and I couldn't get a good sleep. I had been tossing and turning all night. I grabbed the duvets and pulled them to my neck like I would usually do. But it only maybe me want to get up and walking around. I kicked the other duvet off and sighed. Finally, I pushed out of the bed and left the bedroom silently.

I slowly padded downstairs and instead of turning to the kitchen, I took the back way outside. I didn't know why I did but I did. I turned the knob and silently snuck outside.

I sat on the first step and glanced at the moon. I bit my lip and stared down at the huge kennel and grabbed my stomach affectionately. "I love you, Kayson and Karson."

I glanced up once more at the moon before standing up and stepping down into the cold grass. I knew I should have been wearing a coat, or maybe even socks but I wasn't and I just kept carefully stepping into the wet grass.

I sighed and mentally scolded myself for leaving Chance all alone in the bedroom and sneaking out of the house. I tiptoed back to the step and nearly jumped out of my skin as this random dude appeared.

"Ah!" I shrieked and toppled onto the rug staring up at this random person.

"Oh sorry, Miss! Please, let me help you up." He held out his hand and I dryly declined.

"No need. I may be pregnant but I can help myself." I snapped and helped myself up.

"Who are you? What is your purpose here?"

He looked a bit taken back and he slowly replied. "I'm Jayse. I am the night guard. And you?"

I scowled at him and answered, "Chance's wife."

Jayse stumbled back and grabbed my arm, "Miss you must be inside. Chance won't stand for--"

"Won't stand for what, Jayse?"

I glanced back at him and gave him a confused smile and look.

"Rose, what are you doing out here? In the cold?"

I scratched my neck warily, "I don't know." Chance rolled his eyes and grabbed my hand, pulling me into his side. "Come on Rose. Let's get you inside."

I sighed at him as we entered the house again.

"Rosalie, what are you thinking? To go out wearing a tank top and shorts? At 2 AM?" He growled quietly.

I rolled my eyes. "I can't sleep." I sighed. Chance sighed as well and grabbed my waist, pulling me into his arms.

"You could have told me."

"But you looked so cozy. I didn't want to wake you." I smirked as he lead me back upstairs.

"Oh whatever."

He pulled me into the bedroom and got under the duvets. Once he got comfortable he pulled me closer and kissed my hair.

"Can you sleep now?"

"Yes." I whispered. He smirked and closed his eyes as I did.

The lights flickered off and I yawned trying to let the sleep take over but 15 minutes later, I was still awake.

I got out of the bed and left the room. Instead of going outside, I flopped onto the couch. I pulled up a blanket and shut my eyes, finally letting sleep take over.

***Chance's POV***

I shifted around and peeked through my eyelids only to find Rose gone again. Groaning, I got up and left the room calling her name over and over.

"Rose! Rose!"

But she never answered. I hurried downstairs and stopped at the living room where my wife was sleeping peacefully.

How nice.

I leaned over and scooped her up in my arms and carried her back upstairs.

Only you Rose.
