"Chance!" I screamed loudly at him. "Chance I'm trying to sleep here!"
The next thing you know is that I'm over him shoulder being carried down to his Lamborghini with Kami and Karlie behind us. I bit my lip in anger as we left the lobby and got into his car. He plopped me in the car next to him. I pulled down my nightgown and crossed my legs. He's lucky I wore shorts underneath..
"Sorry Babe." Chance teased. I glared at him. My arms fastened around my shoulders and I closed my eyes tightly wishing this was a dream and it would go away. But when I opened my eyes, it didn't fade away like it should have. I should have woken up peacefully, with Chance cuddling beside me and Kami and Karlie asleep on the sofa bed silently. But nope. It had to be different.
"Rose, are you okay?" Chance questioned me. I swallowed hard and looked back at him. "Yes. I'm just feeling ill and my head hurts." I rubbed my face on my knee just as a baby would do. "I'll run to the drug store for you and pick up something. Maybe Advill will help you out today."
"I don't know. Maybe get painkillers instead. I don't need Advill, plus.... I put some somewhere." I argued, although I was lying. I didn't pack any medicines for me. I wasn't sure if I was going to be sick.
"Well I don't want you puking on my Baby, so just let me go get something." He complained as he parked at a common drug store. My stomach crunched as he slipped out and rushed into the store.
"Are you feeling really sick?" Kami whispered to me.
"Yeah, Kami. I am. I feel like I'm going to puke." I moaned, clutching my twins tightly. "Why do you do this to me?" I sighed.
"Look out the window at the green trees." Karlie instructed sternly.
I did as she told me to. I stared at the green trees and grass..basically anything green.
I smiled as Chance came out of the store holding something for me. The problem was that the product wasn't green it was pink.
"Chance! You're supposed to get a green product!" I shouted at him as soon as he sat down. I keep shouting at him about the colour and he just slowly opened the package, and while I was still screaming he stuffed the medicine in my mouth, shutting me up.
I coughed hard at the taste. It tasted like old shoes that an old man had been wearing for a year. The reason I knew what that tasted like was because when I was seven, Blake and I went to see his grandfather who always wore the same shoes for one year. One time we were playing dare or dare and I got dared to put one of his grandfather's shoes on while he slept.... let's just say it did not end well. I was sent to boarding school and I didn't see Blake until I was 10 years old. That's when I moved back.
"Rosen, are you okay?" Chance questioned me.
I sighed. "Just peachy."
He smiled in return and pulled me into a hug. "Sorry, that's the best kind they had."
"Okay, old man shoes is great(!)" I cheered sarcastically.
"At least you'll feel better." Kami offered happily.
"I'll feel better if I was at home, sleeping in my nice bed with my warmer pajamas, my hairbrush and my phone charger." I snarled crabbily at them all.
"Well who's fault is that?" Chance frowned, crossing his arms.
"You know what? Why don't I just get out here, I'll call my mom or someone to pick me up. I'm done. I'm done with you. I'm done with this marriage and I'm definitely done with this life!" I shouted at them all. I turned around to open my door but Chance grabbed my arm tightly and pulled me into the seat.
"Stay still." Was all he said. I could tell he was losing his patience with me because he rarely growled at me like that. Suddenly I felt like a small child who was disobeying it's mother or father. It made me feel bad.
Instead of crying, I sat there. Without any words I stared at them all. I couldn't really leave him. He was my everything. And I was his. Plus I am carrying his children.
"I just want to go home." I whispered fiercely.
Chance's hand knotted in mine and he sighed, "I know baby. I know. Tomorrow, I'll take you straight home. I promise."

That morning when I woke up, I was spread out in the backseat. Kami was lying on the ground underneath me while Chance and Karlie listened to quiet tunes up front.
"I wonder when Rose is going to wake up." Chance said.
"Was she really meaning those things she said yesterday?" Karlie asked him.
"She's pregnant. She doesn't get it. She confused." He defended.
I smiled and closed my eyes. Leave it to Chance to defend me.
"I love you Chance." I purred.
"Love you too, baby."
