"Gimme water!" I screamed loudly as I rested in the bed. Most mornings were always like this and since our stupid husband Chance won't let you walk anywhere although you're perfectly normal. You can't even get a glass of water. I'll admit I haven't gone to the bathroom by myself in three days. Three days. And I'm slowly pulling out my hair.
When Chance never came with my water. I slipped out of bed and stomped downstairs. As soon as I reached the last step I found Jayse guarding the staircase. "Chance she's out!" He called.
I clenched my fists and kicked him in the shins. I stormed off into the kitchen, opened the fridge and and stole the chocolate cake. Instead of cutting it, I just stuffed my face messily. I felt like a child once again.
"Rose! What are....? Oh nice. Rose, you should have eaten breakfast first." He scolded me. I scowled and finished the cake.
He could not judge a pregant woman just because she wanted a cake and she was under bed arrest.
"Okay, now that you're finished the cake. You can march back upstairs and go back to sleep."
I glared at him as he slipped his hand into mine and began leading me upstairs. I could tell he was slightly upset at me for disobeying his command about the bed arrest thingy but he didn't have to drag me upstairs.
Once we reached the last step, he stopped. I was staring into his eyes until he whispered, "Why do you have do be so different?" He tucked a fawn brown strand of hair away and kissed my forehead slowly.
"You tell me." I muffled back. Chance chuckled and kept kissing my face. "I just love your, eyes... and your smile and your tiny ears and long lashes and your hair. Everything."
He rubbed his palm on my belly. I jerked back, but he clasped my elbow and pulled me into his chest. "Don't fall down the stairs now, love."
"I like that name." I sighed dreamily.
"Okay, I'll call you that more often, love." He smirked which caused me to giggle at him. Chance's gray eyes bore into mine and he randomly kissed my nose.
"Chance! Stop it!" I giggled at him and pushed away. This is called playing hard to get.
"Don't you play that." Chance warned as I dashed into our bedroom. So he had heard?
"Course I did, loser." He teased me and sat on the bed.
"I'm going downstairs." I decided and left the room. I strode down the stairs, glared at Jayse and kicked him in the place where the sun doesn't shine for no reason. I just hate Jayse.
"My! Sweet Potato salad!" He cursed under his breath.
"Rosalie!" I spun around at smiled innocently at Chance. He just said the real name...what to do... what to do?? Run. Run, you fat pregnant lady.
I bolted out the kitchen door and closed it behind me, locking it. Rose, you need to lose some weight. Kayson's probably weighing you down. Hey! Be nice to your son! It's probably Karson, she'll be fat like daddy. Wait...Chance's isn't fat. I am. Well only for now. I should go to the gym. Or drink fruit smoothies. That's not going to help you fatty! Hmm..
I bit my lip and then fell to the ground whining. "Ow."
"Rosalie, open this door." Chance ordered.
"No." I said back in a hushed tone. Before I knew it the door opened and in came Chance. I laying on the floor, puking nonstop. Like you haven't done that. I started crying for no reason. "Chance I hate being pregnant! I'm never having any babies! I don't want a baby now. Or babies. I wanna be a old grandma and eat fries all day and know I'm not fat even though I'll be eating all day. I want to be a cucumber.. wait what?"
He laughed. "I don't even know."
