I padded out of the empty bedroom and paused at the staircase. I listened for any voices, but I could hear nothing. In confusion I slowly stepped downstairs. The steps were small, quiet and soft as I tiptoed downstairs, hopeing that I'll find someone to talk to.

As I stepped down the last step I found myself face to face with Jayse. I screamed, fell back and backed away on still down.

"Oh my! I am so sorry, Miss Stone!" Jayse apologized quickly and helped me up.

I dusted myself off efficiently and groaned. "Enough with that." I hissed and narrowed my eyes at him. "I would prefer if you called me Rosalie. I am not a 'miss' Jayse."

He looked a bit down as I fixed my shirt a bit and passed him. "I thought you were only a night guard." I muttered and stalked into the kitchen.

There was Livia standing against the oven and staring helplessly down at it. "Hi Livia." I smiled cheerfully towards her and leaned over to see what she was doing.

"Hey, Rose! Just making Kion's cake." She replied happily as she opened the oven and stabbed a fork into the vanilla cake.

"Who's that?" I asked uneasily. I leaned against the counter as Jayse came running in.

"Look, Rosalie! I said I was sorry for knocking you over and--" He began.

"So you should be," I snapped and went on, "I am pregnant with twins, you know and if you keep trying to win my forgiveness... you're not. So leave me alone or you'll find yourself jobless. So scoot your little butt out of my kitchen and let us ladies bake in peace, thank you."

Jayse stood there with his mouth hanging open. His gray eyes widened as I approached him and closed his mouth. Jayse swallowed hard and quietly replied, "Once, again, I'm sorry, Miss Rosalie. I'll leave Lady Livia and you be. See you around."

I rolled my eyes and Livia smirked, "He was bothering you that badly?"

I nodded.

She shrugged and opened the oven again to examine her cake. "Kion is our little boy." Livia commented randomly.

"I love that name." I remarked with a bright smile.

"Well, I wanted it to be with an L. I haven't told Cade yet." She confessed and began fiddling with her fingers.

"Chance left earlier." She echoed. I gave her a short nod and sighed. "When will he be back?"

"Around lunch. He had to go to the office for a bit and then he went shopping for Kayson's bedding."

I sighed. Livia just sighed and opened the oven.

"You hungry, my baby-- Oh my gosh!! Owww! Ouch!" She fell on the ground, with her hand against her abdomen in pain.

"What is it Livia?" I panicked.

"It's Kion! He's coming 8 days early! Oh my gosh! Jayse! Call Cade! Get Chance!"

I screamed and grabbed my phone and dialled Chance's number.

"Hello?"

"Chance! Livia's going to have her baby! Come here!" I hollered and hung up.

"Lady Livia! I got Cade! He's coming here! Oh! There he is! Cade! She's in here!" He grunted loudly.

Cade hurried in and scooped up Livia, "Liv, are you okay?"

"Gosh no! Get me to the stupid hospital or I'll rip out your eyeballs!" She snapped as he ruffled her blonde hair.

He chuckled and rushed out of the kitchen. Suddenly I was scooped up and hauled put the same way Livia was. "Let's go." Chance declared and set me in the passenger seat. He followed behind Cade and looked at my belly seriously, "Don't you two think about popping out."

I giggled as he pulled up to the hospital. He grinned. "I hate hospitals. They're gross."

"Suck it up Buttercup." He teased me and taped my nose.

Oh Chance.

***Livia's POV***

"Okayyy Miss Livia Stone! Looks like someone's ready to push!" The doctor grinned and adjusted his gloves.

I scowled at him. No way in Butterscotch Rainbow Land that I was doing that.

"Yeah, no." I snickered. "I quit! I don't want to have a baby anymore!" I shouted.

I winced in pain as a cramp was forming down my leg.

"Okay, Miss. Push!" The doctor howled

(WARNING AWKWARD!!)

I did. I pushed until I couldn't push anymore.

"One big push! Come on! Puuussshhh!"

I screamed and pushed roughly as a crying baby was placed in the doctor's arms.

Cade was nervously swallowing after he cut the baby's cord and I randomly blurted out. "Can It be called Layne?"

"Layne?" He repeated. I nodded.

"But all the girls are supposed to have an L name. Kion is much more manly."

"Cade! Please! Layne Kion?"

He sighed and nodded to the doctor, "Layne Kion it is. L-A-Y-N-E K-I-O-N." He spelled out.

Finally a beautiful baby boy. Layne Kion.
