God I haven't updated in so long. Sorry bout that my precious readers.

The plan was simple.

It was easy.

And should've been very easy to have done.

But when has anything actually been easy in my life?

What I didn't count on was the fact that Doctor Thorn had somehow gotten my evil great-grandma in the mix.

The same grandma that I was pretty sure should've been dead by now. Who also had this freaky fascination with the earth, mostly the plants on the earth though. She was what some may call a Nature Freak. Though, she might be even more freaky than them.

Mostly because she can control the earth. Which basically screwed up all of our plans for capturing Doctor Thorn.

Let me give an overview of what went down. Peter convinced his friends that they should help me and while Sam was a little hesitant they all agreed actually pretty quickly which surprised me. Mostly cause I thought Sam and maybe even Ava hated me a bit.

But with them helping, I showed them the cage that was being built for Doctor Thorn. Well, more transportation cage that was made of solid Adamantium-Vibranium Alloy. Once Doctor Thorn was in the container than it would be transported across the sea to a deserted island that the Olympians owned.

We had the trap set out, I would walk be at the area where it all started for Doctor Thorn and I (it was one of the old Olympian storage facilities that went out of commission after The Incident.

I would act as bait while Peter and his friends would then capture Thorn and we would be able to put him into the container.

But that didn't happen. Because as Peter and his friends were hiding all around the place, Thorn dropped from the ceiling onto me with his poisonous tail trained onto my neck.

And while I expected Peter to swing in, my dear great-grandma just comes into the room and tells Doctor Thorn that she knocked out the backup. Leaving only me to deal with the two arseholes. That was until they knocked me out.

Which is how I got into the situation of being tied up, gagged, and somewhere I had no idea where I was while being towered over by my of my only few relatives left and Doctor Thorn.

I squirmed in hopes of finding some sort of loose opening in the vines that wrapped my hands together behind my back.

"Don't bother dear child, I can tighten them with just a single thought. You won't be getting out of here any time soon," my bitch of a grandma told me.

I muffled around the gag and said a 'Screw you' to her.

Somehow, she seemed to have understood me for I now have a red shape hand mark against the right side of my face.

And dear god did it hurt but I was use to pain, thank the old dead step-father for that.

"When can we kill him?" Doctor Thorn asked eagerly.

"Wait, my dear-monster, you do want to put on a show don't you? Think of how exposing all the secrets of the Olympians will impact everyone. Then, I can swoop in and save the day by changing the course that the company is heading,"

Great, a bat-crazy grandmother. Wasn't a crazy grandfather enough?

Before I could even think of trying to speak around the gag in my mouth, there plastic sheeting being placed in front of me before Thorn made me kneel on top of it.

"Wouldn't want the floor to be ruined by your blood now do we," my grandmother cooed, like she actually cared about my well-being.

Feeling disgusted by them and how they showed no-remorse. Did I really have to be related to a psychopath? It was quite unbecoming.

Trying to twist out of the vines once more, I winced as it tightened in response and my grandmother tutted in disapproval.

Yeah, because I care so much about your opinion.

With that plan out for now, I instead looked around for any sort of water that I could use, I even reached out for my powers. But my breath tightened as everything was dry as the desert. How were they able to do that? That shouldn't be possible.

Now scared at the fact that I couldn't even use my powers to escape, I watched in horror as a camera was placed in front of me.

Slowly, the minutes ticked by as the two psychopaths fluttered about doing a few things before the red blinking light of the camera was focused on me.

I swallowed around my gag, feeling despair as I realized that I actually might die here. Today. But I couldn't wrap around why. Why did great-grandma join Doctor Thorn.

Why did the plan have to fail?

Why is this place so dry? I didn't like that, it felt like something was missing from me.

Why did I feel like something was coming. Something large, untamable. Something that reminded me of my dad?

I drowned out the noise of my grandma talking to the camera about how Olympian Enterprise hired mutants. Freaks of nature (which I kinda noted was funny as my grandma herself was a 'freak of nature' almost literally).

And I knew what her goal was. The time was still early and so many people hated mutants even with a Professor I met when I was maybe 6 with Chiron that was also a mutant and had a school for mutants.

With so many people hating mutants, they would associate that hate with my company and grandma could swoop in, fire those mutants, and gain most of the populations favor.

I shook off that train of thoughts as the feeling of something dangerous became more pronounced. Something tugging in my stomach.

I sucked in a breath as Doctor Thorn had his stinger slowly coming closer to my neck. It all seemed in slow motion.

Before a roaring overtook my ears.

I watched in part fascination as a large ripple of water that tasted slightly of salt busted through the wall and slammed Doctor Thorn away from me.

It made the camera fritz and pushed grandmother away from me and the bindings around my wrist loosen enough for me to slip my hands out.

As I stood up shakily, I realized that my stomach was actually very dangerously clenched. And the second, was that I was controlling the water.

I've never had much control over my water powers, it comes and goes. But right now, in this moment with part of me yearning to just play in the water. The powers almost came easily to me.

Feeling stronger as the water brushed my arms in almost affection, I raised my hand and pointed at Doctor Thorn and grandmother.

Then I watched them break through the wall from the strength of the water that had jetted to them.

I took the gag out of my mouth and let the water make these steps so I could exit the building through the hole in the wall.

Slowly, I walked toward the two groaning adults, feeling anger, confusion, and hurt.

And I just watched them. Watched them in pain and whimpering as the water held them down. As it turned into ice and trapped them.

Making them feel cold and slowly watched as their lips turned blue.

But by the time that happened, there were helicopters surrounding us.

SHIELD it seems has arrived.

And with them arriving, was me passing out from exhaustion.

How was that for a return chapter?
