Chase went up to his sister Gabby and said, "Gabby, I'm going to get you some food." He went to the market to try to find some food he could afford. When he got there, he discovered that there was only apples he could buy, again. "Dang it," Chase said. There is never anything good here that my family can afford. He went back to his home with a bushel of apples. "What did you get form the market?" Ma said. Apples, just as usual. I am going to hunt after supper and try to get some meat. Later in the day, he went out to the woods with his trusty rifle. Chase said," what a wonderful day to hunt some animals. There was rustling in the leaves. Chase quickly loaded his gun. The deer appeared from the bush. Chase shot it. "Yes!" Chase said. It is very rare that I get a deer for dinner. He went back to his house. Everybody looked very solemn. "What's wrong," Chase asked. Pa replied back," the pickings for the thirsty games are coming early this year. They are tomorrow morning."
