Thank god my mom is having a boy. My parents would never be able to handle another girl, they're way too much drama. I ran up and hugged both of my parents before going to my room and showering. I laid on my bed with my headphones in absorbing the music playing in my ears. This was the first moment I was genuinely happy about having a new baby brother.
My dad came in my room and saw me smiling and sat next to me, "You see that's the Lexi I know."
I smiled up at him and took out my headphones, "Sorry, I've been such a pain lately dad."
"It's okay. You are a teenager it's too be expected." he shrugged looked down in his lap while fiddling with his fingers, I could tell something was wrong.
I sat up and nudged his shoulder, "Are you excited it's a boy?"
He half smiled at me, "Oh, yeah. Definitely."
I smiled back, "Is everything okay dad?"
"Are you okay with this?" he asked looking concerned.
"I am, but something tells me you're not."
"Cold feet is all." he stood up to kiss my forehead.
"You're a great dad there's no need to have cold me feet." I assured him.
He smiled, "Thanks, Lex. I love you hun."
"I love you too, dad." I smiled back and he left.
I laid in bed for a few more minutes before I was called for dinner. After dinner I went to the gym for one last practice before my trial in the morning. Taylor was there to help me perfect everything. After I was done with Taylor I went to Logan's. We cuddled up and watched a movie in his basement.
"You go back to school Monday don't you?" Logan asked.
"Yes, but let's not worry about that until after my trial tomorrow." I said.
"Stop stressing." Logan paused and lifted my chin to kiss my lips and whispered, "You'll do fine."
I smiled up at him and kissed him back then Travis walked in, "Yuck, enough touchy feely please." he said.
"Sorry, Travis." I blushed.
"Logan I need to talk to you." Travis sat down on the couch.
"Can't It wait..." Logan started
I cut him off, "It's okay. I have to go home anyway. Early day tomorrow." I kissed his cheek, "Call me later."
"Touchy feely..." Travis grunted.
"Sorry." I smirked at him as I went to the stairs to leave.
"Bye, Lex." Logan said.
I got in my car and drove home. It was late and my parents were watching a movie on the couch. I let them enjoy themselves and went straight to my room. Before I knew it there was a knock on my window and Taylor holding a white sign saying "sleepover?" I jumped out of bed and let her in the window.
"Are you ready for tomorrow?" she asked.
"Ehh, I don't know what's going to happen to be honest." I admit.
"I'm sure you'll do fine." she smiles at me.
I smirk, "Says the perfect team captain."
"Hey, I'm not perfect. My beam needs some serious work." she laughed.
"I really wish Monica would just eat mat and leave me alone." I said right as my mom walked in.
"Be nice." she warned.
