So I only disappeared for basically a century. I'm not going to promise you chapters on a schedule until school is out at the end of April. I'm going to try to get you four more chapters up before than so expect something every other week but don't hold me too it! I've been really stressed out, excuses, excuses I know but I do remember you guys.

Shameless shout out to my best friend Maddie whose writing another fanfic. I have the link as my status if you're interested in checking it out. It would mean a lot because it is a good fanfic but then again I'm probably being biased.

By the way when I call Travis a carrot or other ginger refrences I don't mean to offend anyone so if I do please let me know. I'll totally stop.

On to the story!

I spent the next few days in Boston watching and helping my dad recover in anyway I could. I missed home and I missed Logan but I knew when I went back tomorrow I would have to come up with something to tell Mr. Cruz whether it be the truth or not I still haven't decided. I'm ready to get all the secrets off my chest but I don't know if the timing is right with everything going on with my dad. My mom takes me out for a dinner with my grandma while my dad is napping.

"How's school honey?" my grandma asked.

"Good." I smiled at her.

"Are you doing okay, sweetie?" my mom looked at me.

I sighed, "I'm okay, I just want you and dad to be home."

"Are you going to fly back next weekend?" my mom asked.

"You're coming back next Thursday right?"

My mom shook her head, "That's the plan."

"Then I'll stay home. If anything changes I'll just come back the week after."

"Okay honey." my mom kissed my forehead.

I spent the rest of the dinner practically silent as my mom and grandma talked about my dads condition. After dinner we went to the hospital and I sat at my dads side the entire night. I am definitely a daddy's girl but it makes me feel so guilty that I'm hiding so much from him. This was also the night Shay went back to California so it was bittersweet as we said our goodbyes. As Shay hugged me he whispered "Hang in there." its so broad but I don't know how much longer I can just 'hang in there'. The next morning was full of tears as I was saying goodbye to my parents to go home. This time it wasn't as bad though because I knew I would be seeing my dad again. When I finally landed in Florida Travis was waiting to pick me up. I would be staying with him again until my dad gets back. I looked at my bruise and it was practically gone. All has been forgotten in my mind at least. As we pulled up Travis' driveway Jax and Logan were playing roller hockey. As Travis and I got out of the car Jax went to get a goal on Logan but missed the goal completely and ended up smashing the outdoor light above the garage.

"Jaxson!" Travis yelled.

"Oh no. Watch out Jax his hair may start to flame." Logan joke.

"The flaming carrot!" Jax skated around Travis in a superman type fashion.

Travis rolled his eyes, "Enough boys! Clean up the glass Jax then come inside to wash up for dinner. All three of you." Travis said.

Logan saluted his dad, "Yes sir."

I silently laughed as Travis walked inside and walked over to Logan for a hug, "Hey." he smiled down at me and kissed my forehead.

"How's you dad, Lexi?" Jax asked as he took off his skates.
