3rd Person POV

Evan, Tyler, Brock, David, Marcel, Lui and Jonathan were hanging out at David's house and were just chillin'.

They were getting a little bored, so Brock suggested they should play hide and seek.

They all agreed on the idea because they felt a little childish today, so they went outside and Brock started to state the rules.

"First, there will be two seekers. They must roam all the areas that we play on and not just stay next to the "safe house". When the seekers see a hider they chase him. The seeker must catch the hider, while the hider must reach the safe house. The seekers will be chosen by the game of rock, paper and scissors." -Brock said.

He pointed at David.

"David and I will play against each other and whoever wins will choose the seekers."

"Wait, why you two?" -Evan asked, confused.

"Because I suggested the idea and David owns the "safe house". -Brock said, laughing a little.

"Meh, I'm cool with that." -Marcel said.

The rest of the group nodded. David and Brock stood in front of each other, ready to rumble.

"Okay, rock paper scissors!" -they both said in unision.

Brock held out a hand representing the 'scissors' while David held out the 'rock'.

"Yeeea, I wooon." -David said, with a little excitement in his voice.

"You didn't win a golden medal, why you so excited?" -Jonathan asked, laughing a little.

"Ok David, pick who the two seekers will be." -Brock said, gesturing to everyone.

"Ok how about... Marcel and Lui?" -David asked.

"Oh, come on!" -Marcel whined and sighed.

"It's okay, at least we'll hide next round?" -Lui asked.

"Hmph." -Marcel huffed.

"Okay you two. You stay here and cover your eyes and count to 50."

"50?!" -Marcel asked.

"Okay, 35. But sloowly." -Brock said, distancing himself from the two seekers.

"Okay. Three, two, one. Go!" -Brock yelled and they all went running while the seekers counted to 35.

Evan's POV

Everyone started running their separate direction, so did I. As I was running I remembered I had the perfect spot to hide.

It was within the distance they agreed they'd be able to hide, and no one would ever guess it.

It was a small abandoned shed next to an old football field.

The shed was locked (like always) but there was a small hole in the roof that would lead to the small shed's attic.

The hole was just enough for me to crawl in and there was a tree next to it that would help me get up to it.

I quietly climbed up the tree, just in case they were already seeking.

I went through the whole and grabbed a nearby wood panel to cover the whole so no one would suspect anyone was in here.

"What the fuck are you doing here?!"

I jumped, not realizing anyone would be here.

"Tyler?"

"Uh, yeah?"

"What you doin' here?"

"Hiding. What you doin' here?"

"Hiding. You knew about this place too?" -I asked.

"Ya, of course I knew about it. I've been to this shed so many freakin' times I swear I even know the outline of it." -Tyler said.

"Me too." -I said and we both laughed.

We began to relax more, because we both basically scared the living hell out of each other just now, thinking we'd both be alone.

Some minutes pass and we hear someone's footsteps coming towards the shed.

"Hey, do you hear that?!"

"Shhh!" -Tyler shushed me and put a hand over my mouth.

The footsteps came closer and stopped in front of the shed.

"Do you think someone might be there?" -Marcel asked.

"Nah, I don't think so. This shed looks rundown and I don't see another way in." -Lui responded.

"Oh wait! What about that?!" -Marcel asked and pointed at the shed's attic hole that was blocked off.

"Oh ow" -I thought.

I felt me and Tyler tense up.

We heard the footsteps moving around the entrance and then stopping.

"I don't think anyone's in there." -Lui said.

"Yeah, I don't think so either." -Marcel said.

I relaxed, hearing the footsteps outside the shed moving further and further away...

I grabbed Tyler's hand and slowly removed it from my mouth.

"Oh right. Sorry." -he apologized.

"It's okay. We almost got discovered."

"Yeah. That was close."

"Too close." -I said.

We both lean back against the wall of the attic.

"What's with the stick?" -I asked him, pointing at the wooden branch he was holding.

"Uh, that's just in case someone tried to come up here." -he responded.

"What, were you gonna poke them with it if they tried to get in?" -I asked, and chuckled.

"Heh, maybe." -he said, making us both laugh.

"Hey, we should mess with them." -Tyler said.

"What do you mean?" -I asked curiously.

"Ha, you'll see." -Evan said and smirked evilly.

Tyler's POV

"What the...did you hear that?" -Marcel asked, already losing his mind.

"Yes I did Marcel. How 'bout you stop screaming and start helping me?" -Lui asked, tired of playing the game of cat and mouse.

We were messing with them. While they were arguing and looking for everyone, me and Evan hid in a barrel.

It was bigger than you normal average barrel, just enough for me and Evan to fit in.

But we barely had space, and our faces were really close. Too close.

"Hey Tyler?"

"Yeah?"
