Tyler's POV
Me and Evan were currently on our way to his parents' house.
Since we've been dating for over a year and moved in together, Evan has been insisting that we meet each other's parents.
My parents already met him, but I've never met his parents.
We landed in Canada about an hour ago and took a cab back to his hometown.
We had about half an hour left of driving and were exhausted.
We were both sitting in the back seat - I had my arm around Evan and he was snuggled up to me, half asleep.
I tried to hide the fact that I was nervous as hell, but he seemed to have picked up on it.
"Hey, you okay?" -Evan asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." -I lied.
"You sure? You haven't said anything ever since we landed." -He remarked.
I sighed.
"I'm just tired."
"And?"
"...Maybe a little nervous..." -I mumbled, hoping he didn't hear me.
He chuckled, which confirmed that he did.
"Come on Ty! They'll love you!" -He exclaimed, which made me snort.
"I'm not so sure..."
"Stop doubting yourself. They'll love you, you'll see." -He assured.
His words did give me a little hope, but I wasn't gonna tell him. That's not fun.
"We're almost there." -The cab driver informed us.
"Great, almost there. Oh god, is it too late to turn back now?!" -I mumbled frantically.
"Hey now, calm down!" -Evan said, giving me a quick peck on the lips.
"Better?"
"Huh, I don't know..." -I said unsurely.
"Promise me you'll be fine? Eventually?" -He asked.
"I promise."
~~~
We finally arrived at Evan's old house, where his parents lived. We payed the cab driver his money and he drove away.
We started walking towards the house, hand in hand, when I stopped.
Evan stopped as well and looked at me, concern laid in his eyes.
"It'll be okay. I promise they'll like you." -He told me, reassuringly squeezing my hand.
"What if the don't?" -I asked, getting nervous again.
"They will. And if they don't, then nothing. It's not like I would break up with you." -He said.
I sighed in relief and he giggled a bit, kissing my cheek.
