Unexpected

(A lot of changing of POV's in this one XD)

Evan's POV

Tyler came over to hang out at my house tonight and we wanted to do something fun.

"How about a movie?" -I asked him.

"Yeah, a movie sounds great. Which one though?" -he responded, flickering through different movies I had on my TV.

"How about a scaaaary mooovie?" -I asked him in a spooky voice. He laughed.

"Sure, why not?"

I flipped through all of the horror or thriller movie's I had and remembered one that Tyler would just...love to watch.

Of course, he would kill me later. I selected the movie and he looked at me with a 'are you fucking serious' expression.

"What?" -I asked sarcastically.

"The Conjuring?"

"Well sorry, but it's my personal favorite. And it's scary."

"Scary? It's fucking terrifying for fuck's sake!" -he exclaimed and I couldn't help but burst out laughing.

He was literally like a little child. Except most kids weren't such a pain in the ass as this one.

"Come on, are you chicken?" -I asked him and chuckled.

"Very funny."

I started making chicken noises and he wore an annoyed expression on his face.

"Fine, just start the damn thing already!"

"Just did!" -I said as I clicked 'play'.

This was certainly gonna be interesting.

Tyler's POV

That fucking Evan bitch. I knew he would pick something like this...god dammit!

Whatever, I should've just picked a movie myself. Then I wouldn't have to watch a movie that I watched two months ago.

It still haunts my nightmares. I growled angrily under my breath so he wouldn't hear me.

The movie was about thirty minutes in and I got scared on every possible jump scare.

Even if just some creepy music was playing I would get shivers and get scared shitless.

And Evan making fun of me about it wasn't making it any better.

Evan's POV

Tyler has been getting scared so easily. And every time he did he would jump a bit, let out a scream and held onto me.

I didn't mind, I was actually happy, though I didn't let it show.

I made jokes about him getting scared so easily and he got mad and I laughed.

That's...pretty much how the whole duration of the movie went.

It confused me that he said he loved horror movies even though he was easily spooked at every single mild jump scare.

I was getting tired of Evan poking fun at me throughout the movie. It wasn't even over yet, but it almost was. Thank god!
