Ashton is Lauren's big brother. He's a senior at the local high school, 6' 3", and a punk rock drummer in a band with his three best friends.

"Hey Luke!" Lauren grins, walking up to me.
"Hi Laur." I smile.
"Are you ready to go to mine? We just have to wait a bit, Ash is taking us and he has to talk to his teacher for a bit." She says.
"Okay, that's fine. Let's wait in the cafeteria." I say, and we walk to there, chatting a bit on our way.
"So, what do you want to do?" I ask.
"Well, I was thinking we could go for a walk or a bike ride and then we could binge some old american TV shows, I found this website that we can watch it on."
"Sounds good." I nod.
"They have iCarly." Lauren squeals.
"Really? We're watching the One Direction episode first."
"Of course! And we have to scream to This Town some more."
"That song is going to kill me." I laugh.
"Hey Laur, hey Luke. Ready to go?" Ashton says, walking up to us, carrying his binder by his side.
I may not have mentioned this yet, but Lauren's brother is hot. Like, really hot. He's a drummer in a band, and he's tall. Like, taller than me tall. Then again, I'm almost as tall as him, and my mum says I'm still growing, but still.
The only unfortunate thing about this is that Lauren doesn't know I'm gay, and if she did, I doubt she'd let me date her brother.
Here's to another afternoon of torturing myself by hanging out with Lauren, while slowly falling in love with her brother.
It's not that I don't mind Lauren, she's been my best friend since we were 5 years old, and Ashton was 7. I still kinda liked him then, but I didn't understand sexualities then. Now I do, and I know I'm gay and I want Ashton.
Now all I need to do is figure out how to tell Lauren about all of this.
We can only hope for the worst, then have it go up from there.
