Rosa Harold is old now, she can barely walk, she lies in the bed of the ICU still and steady, as she lies there she can hear the beeps of the machine next to her which records her unsteady heartbeats, she can hear nothing except the silence. Even though the entire room is silent her mind is not at peace, it's constantly thinking of someone or something.
Her vision is blurry but it's clear enough to see the doctor walk in, he takes a chair and sits next to her bed. He asks "Rosa can you hear me?" She turns her head slightly to the corner and mumbles "yes".
In his eyes she can see one thing, "pity" then Rosa says "dear doctor do not pity me for i am not sad to leave but I am greatful to leave because I know when I close my eyes forever I will finally be with the only thing I ever wanted to be with in my entire life." And she gives a slight and weak smile. Then before the doctor could ask who? The nurse rushed in saying "doctor we need you in the other ICU it's an emergency", the doctor rushed out. Now Rosa is alone, she feels relieved to be alone unlike anyone else it's no difference to her as she has been alone her entire life except for few amazing years she had, those few years she had are also the reason for her thoughts in a silenced room.
