Chapter 6 - Rule Number One

Aria's POV

"Yes, that's right. The actual game has not begun. As for now, I would like all of you to gather in a circle. Introduce yourself and get along." Rainbow said and went off.

Everyone was still not moving, but their face expressions had totally changed. Before this, I was certain that they looked frightened and now it's as if they were just faking those emotions. Each one of them has this glare on them; emitting their own warning and threatening aura.

Bran who's beside me was not acting strange like them and I was really relieved. Aile looked lost in her own world and just stared into thin air.

Mai's eyes looked dead. Well, she had suffered enough and lost her mind. I mean she just lost Bry.

'Maybe I should do it first.'

"H-hello. I'm Aria, 17, and I'm the class representative of Class 1-B."

Everyone turned their gaze to me at once and I felt a shiver going down my spine.

"And I'm Bran." Bran introduced, and it just stopped there. No one said anything, so I went around them. Somehow, I was able to memorize their names by their name tags. It was funny how they don't move and stood like a statue.

Theni came to another realization.

'That boy who was playing with the knife. Where is he?!'

I couldn't see him anywhere!

I then counted the number of students and it was only nineteen.

'Well... fuck.'

Ding Dong Ding DING!

"Hmmm... why do I see that no one is doing anything? Oh forget about the introductions. I shall read out the rules for the game." Rainbow paused and continued,

"this game... Nagi, what the hell are you doing?"

"Why am I here? I hate this. I hate where I'm at. I hate how everyone is weird. I hate how you're forcing us into this. I hate how the twenty students who died are all over the floor now." Nagi murmured to himself but Rainbow heard it all too well.

"And what are you going to do? You can't disobey me."

Nagi hyperventilated, "I can't do this. I WON'T MAKE IT THROUGH. I CAN'T. I JUST CAN'T."

"FUCKING HELL, CAN YOU JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Shiro who was next to him, grabbed the scissors that Mai dropped swiftly and jabbed it into Nagi's mouth; hitting the back of his throat. Out he pulled and in, he penetrated Nagi's throat.

He repeated the same swinging action and tore his throat apart, making the windpipe visible to everyone.

I heard the siren screaming out nowhere and the steel doors slid open on its own.

DING DONG DING DING!

"IT HAS BEGUN! LET THE GAME BEGIN!" Rainbow clapped out loud and the fifteen students quickly raced through the door and dispersed, leaving me, Bran and Mai.

"No wait! You still have not told us what the game rules are!" she panicked and tripped over her own feet; her clean pants now painted with blood,

"AHHHHHHHH!" she screamed once more and fainted.

"Come on, Aria we gotta go." Bran held my hand and pulled me out of the classroom.

DING DONG DING DING!

"Rule number one, guys. Everyone must be on their guard and protect yourself. Make sure you don't get yourself killed and now, what I want everyone to do is...

KILL ARIA."

'Kill... me?'
