Aria's POV

Wake up

I opened my eyes; my brows creasing in confusion as I gained back consciousness.

When I tried to raise my head, I realized I was not able to move. It's as if I'm having sleep paralysis right now.

My eyes roamed around the place and noticed that I'm in the same classroom as before but only more spacious. That's when I noticed I'm stuck seated on a chair with my head resting against my folded arms.

As fear started to creep in, my breaths began to hasten and my heart beat rapidly.

I immediately shut my eyes tight. 'Maybe this really is one of those sleep paralysis that I've read online.'

Suddenly, a loud thud was heard, and I snapped my eyes opened to see what the fuck was that sound. This time, I was able to jerk free and instead of being the only person in class, the room was filled with many other students.

There were all positioned the same way I was in.

'What in the world is going on?' I glanced around and saw a familiar figure right in front of my table seat.

I rose from my seat quietly and nudged his shoulder to wake up.

"Bran!" I shouted in a whisper, "Get up!"

"Hmm... Aria?" he yawned and stretched, "What's going on around here?"

I didn't answer and went ahead to wake everyone up. I do know a few of them but the rest were unknown.

I took a clearer look around the classroom. This one is oddly different compared to our regular ones. The window's tinted dark and there are no handles on them. Even the doors seemed to be made out of steel and again, there are no handles installed on them. I tried sliding the door open, but it was no use, it's locked; both front and back doors.

"Fuck! Where are we?"

"I was knocked out by the moment I reached school!"

"Same here! What's going to happen to us?!"

Panicked murmurs were starting to be heard around. Some in fear, some in frustration. I mean, who wouldn't?

Bran shook his head, "Guess everyone was brought here the same as us."

I nodded.

Ding dong ding DING!

The speaker hung at the corner of the classroom blared out loud, "A very good morning to all of you. My name is Rainbow."

Someone stifled out a laugh, "Pftt, Rainbow? What a stupid name!"

"Toru, I don't think you should laugh in a situation like this!" his friend scolded but Toru laughed even louder.

"Sorry, I just think this is some sort of a pran-"

Out of nowhere, an arrow shot out of the ceiling and pierced through his head.

Silence engulfed the room.

...

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" his friends screamed and got teary, "TORU!"

Some of the others puked and back away from the fresh corpse who fell on his knees and fell flat onto the floor; blood flowing out from his now distorted head.

"If you are to make a simple mistake like ridiculing my name, you're next, got it?" he said sternly.

'What in the world just happened!' I screamed internally.

I felt disgusted. He's fucking sick in the head.

"Now, where was I? Right, we're going to play a game, my lovelies. A game called, 'The Question Game'. It's a simple game, really. All you need to do is to form a group of three. Two will be answering and the other will question the two." he explained.

"When it comes down with a remainder of twenty students, just stop at whatever you're doing, and I'll come right back at you. Oh, and you'll find a stack of question papers placed right below of every table. If you want to know if you answered the questions right or wrong, well, you should look forward to that the most." he said and went off.

'What is there to look forward to? Death?' I thought hard and Bran tapped me on the shoulder.

"Aria, no one's in their right mind to start the game. What do you think we should do?"

"I don't know. Everyone's probably freaking out and confused. I mean, look at ...." I stared at Toru in his lifeless form and my stomach suddenly felt funny.

From what I'm seeing, everyone's not giving a fuck about the announcement being made. No one gave a damn about the game. Some were still mourning over Toru.

Just then, another announcement had been made.

"Students, why aren't you starting the game? Do you want a death penalty? You do know that I'm always watching you guys."

With that, everyone knew what they're supposed to do.

Just like that, fear had taken over them.

Bran and I too, we were damn terrified.

But wait...

"A remainder of twenty students?" I thought aloud.
