Goodbye Teacher

Note: From now on whenever Jacob becomes Z, he will be known as Z even during actions, he will only be known as Jacob while he's not Z - enjoy.

It was another morning in the police station where Slater was in the medical room, getting his shoulder bandaged. While the nurse was doing so, Slater was remembering of what happened last night, he finally admitted that Z was trained by the same teacher after he saw the actions performed by Z.

Slater: So he accepted the contract (disappointed).
Nurse: (confused) contract?
Slater: Uh... no... it's nothing.
Nurse: Ok...

Then another officer came into the medical room to meet Slater.

Officer: So how are you feeling sir?
Slater: I'm good.

The officer was looking at the bandaged shoulder of Slater.

Officer: (sigh) that wouldn't have happened if you took my choice.
Slater: I know, I know, well it was worth it, I managed to make more progress.
Officer: Do you want me to record those in your file?
Slater: No need for that, assemble a 10 man team, we are leaving by midnight.
Officer: What for sir?
Slater: (grins) you'll figure it out.
Officer: But-

Slater exits the medical room before the officer could finish what he was saying.

Officer: Very well sir.

The officer went to arrange a 10 man team for Slater in the other headquarters.
Meanwhile, in a hideout far away from Washington D.C.

Unknown: He killed off Feast!
X: I know, he's pretty strong. Feast came this far to sacrificing himself to save me, his death will not be in vain, surely he'll be avenged.
Group: Shall we track him down for you master?
X: No need for that. Though there is something that you both can get done.

Location: The Ark Warehouse.
Time: 12:01

Slater slowly started walking into the warehouse in which he first used to train, he starts remembering all the good times he used to have there, but this time, he was here to meet somebody he hasn't met over 20 years. As he opened the door and started looking around, he sees a torn paper on the ground which was half decayed. He went forward and picked it up and it turned out to be the contract that he tore 20 years ago.

Unknown: It never moved from that spot ever since you left, well, not now.

Slater turned around to find his teacher sitting next to the staircase. As expected, he would be there, but what Slater found surprising was that his teacher hasn't aged a bit and looked the same as always.

Slater: It's been a while sensei, or should I say, Sins!
Sins: Now why the loss of respect? You surely have changed since back then.
Slater: I wasn't your only student was I? You have another student named Z.
Sins: Z? Oh, so that's what he's calling himself now. Guess he wasn't lying.
Slater: What is Z's real identity (furious)?
Sins: You know the contract rules right? I can't do that.
Slater: The contract rules...

20 years ago

Sins: If you sign this contract, not only will I teach you the Sword Art of the Blood Blade, but I will grant you security as well as privacy of your identity for you being my student till the contract ends.
Slater: What does this have to do with my identity?
Sins: If anyone knows that you are my student, then I will be tracked down and killed. And if I'm killed, the Sword Art of the Blood Blade won't be passed on.
Slater: What is it that makes it so special?
Sins: It's special because the person who learns it will be able to fight the DARKNESS that's lies in this planet.
Slater: What's the darkness?
Sins: You will soon find out.
