Im a fish.

All of the fish

In my pond

Swim in schools.

My school is

Quite big

And its known

To be the best

To swim with.

Synchronized fins and tails,

We are the top.

And there i am

Among the great

Im part of them

But me,

I always swim

In the center

Surrounded by other fish.

Im there,

A part of them

But im just a little fish.

What if

I was in

A small pond

Where smaller schools swim

Where maybe i

Would be seen

Swimming in synch

With all the others

Giving it my all.

Yes, it would be

A smaller school,

Less known and less desired

But i would be noticed,

Id be a big fish.

I could be a big fish

In a little pond

But i guess it is better

To be part of the great

The big pond,

And be unnoticed

Just being a little fish.
