"Oh No"

"What the fuck are you doing?" Patrick shouted.

He had just been about to go find Charlie, when suddenly, out of nowhere, this girl just pounced on him.

He couldn't deny that she was hot. But he only has eyes for Charlie. Even in the mess she was.

But no, this random girl, who was probably- no, definitely drunk A.F, grabbed him and whispered into his ear for them to go somewhere quieter.

What?

And when he said no?

"I know what'll change your mind..."

She started to forcefully kiss him. Tongue down throat and everything. And he really did try to get her off him.

But she was surprisingly strong. Thankfully, for what felt like an eternity of struggle, Joe saw what was happened and with his help was able to get the girl off him.

After a bouncer dragged her away, Patrick leaned up against a wall and sighed.

"This is Pete's fault. Letting all these people in."

"Ya, I'm pretty sure she wasn't on the guest list," Joe tried to defend Pete.

"Whatever. I just want to find Charlie," A weird sound escaped Joe's lips.

"What?" Patrick asked, curious to what would have caused it.

"Well...um, I saw her earlier. Not too long ago actually. I...uh..." It was the guitarist's turn to stutter.

"Trohman!" Patrick hissed. He was worried now.

What had she seen?

Oh no.

What if she hadn't seen her pounce on him?

Oh no.

Where the hell was she?

For some reason Patrick's ears finally tuned into the band on stage.

Being smaller than a lot of people there, he couldn't see the stage properly.

It was a girl's voice. Which confused him, because wasn't Green Day playing?

Actually, what confused him more was that the voice sounded a lot like Charlie's. But he couldn't see who it was.

Out of habit, he reached up to fix his fedora, only to realise it wasn't there. He then remembered that Charlie had taken it earlier in the day and had been wearing it the last time he'd seen her.

Suddenly, the crowd parted just enough for him to see that it was in fact Green Day on stage.

But Charlie was also there, singing the chorus of American Idiot into the microphone.

It had come to Patrick's attention that he had never actually heard Charlie sing before. At least not since they were kids.

Her voice was...okay, it wasn't perfect. But Patrick didn't care. He was happy that Charlie was having fun.

Well, at least he was happy...until he saw how close a certain lead singer was to her. He was just looking into her eyes. And she was looking into his. And she was smiling one of his favourite smiles of hers. The one where when she smiles you know that she knows everything's going to be okay.

Also, she wasn't wearing his fedora?

"Ah...Patrick?" Joe gulped.

"W-hat?"  Patrick's voice cracked.

Joe pointed to the ground to where he had found his fedora. Metres away from where the incident had happened.

"Oh no."
