"I can't believe the day is finally here!" Paige exclaimed with much joy and excitement as she made breakfast for the last time in Bette's home. Their house was finally ready for them to move into.
Christian was now 2, and another bun was in the oven.
"Michael, wake up," Paige shook him gently before getting up to get Christian ready for the day.
"What is it, sweetheart?" he mumbled through his tiredness.
"We need to load up the rest of our stuff, so we can move in," she informed him.
Mike rubbed his face with both of his hands, "I'll be up soon, babe."
"What's wrong, Michael?"
He laid there in silence until he released a sigh, "I'm just nervous is all," he admitted.
"It will be okay, I promise. Our families love us, so if we need anything I'm sure we can call on them. For example, we have been living with your mother for the last year and a half," Paige laughed a little.
"What's so funny?" Mike grinned questioningly.
"That seems like such a failure thing to say, but I think we are getting on alright."
"Who cares, just gotta live, babe. Now, why don't you go get Christian ready and I'll start getting everything else loaded up?"
"Sounds like a plan to me," Paige smiled with joy beaming from her eyes.
As Michael walked out the bedroom door, his mother informed him that she had already moved the remaining items into the back of the car.
"Aw, ma, you didn't have to do that," he hugged her.
"If it means getting you out of here any faster, I'll do anything," she responded with a hardy laugh.
Hearing this made Paige go into a laughing fit, "I told ya, Mikey."
"I'm only teasing ya, child," she assured him.
A few moments later everyone was ready to head out on a new adventure.
"Be careful dears! Give me a ring when ya can! Love you all!" Bette waved at the three, well four, of them drove away.
The evening prior Paige said her goodbyes to her father, mother, and brother, Logan. Now it was time for the very long, and very tiring trip out to their home in California.
"Pete called me last night and said that everything was still up and running in the house, just waiting for people," Michael smiled as he informed his beloved.
After many, many hours of driving over the course of the last few days, they were finally greeted by the sight of their new home. Sitting on the porch, in a rocking chair, was a familiar face that neither of them had seen in a while.
"Micky!" Paige shouted with an eminence amount of joy as she threw her arms into the arm.
"Babe! How have you been?!" Micky ran down to hug her.
"Pretty great, besides the occasional pain in the gut," she hinted at her pregnancy.
"What do you mean by that?"
Michael just laughed, "Take a guess, shotgun."
"Do you have some terminal illness?"
"Now, why would I smirk at that?" Michael questioned Micky's logic.
"Good point... Hmm, well you did feel a little bigger in the middle... wait... ARE YOU PREGNANT?!" Micky finally realized.
Paige giggled, "Yes. I'm due in 4 months roughly."
