I continued running and running trying to put as much distance between us as I could. People were staring at me as I ran from the car. At least they had the decency to move out of my way. I started running to the the local park near by.
As I was running I continued to glace behind me making sure I wasn't being followed. I forgot to look where I was going and ran into someone knocking me to the ground.
"You should really watch where you are running mate."
I looked up at the owner of the voice and recognized them immediately. I had done my fair share of research on the original family. The humble Elijah, the daughter who just wanted to be loved Rebekah, the sacrificial lamb Finn, Henrik who loved and died, Niklaus the abomination vampire and werewolf, and finally Kol the vampire who was killed for the cure. Kol was brought back around the same time Klaus found out I existed. In exchange for his life, Kol was supposed to help Klaus track me down and keep me with Klaus. I should have known he wouldn't be far away from Klaus.
"Kol." I whispered
"Nice to meet you, Marie." He said giving me a evil grin.
"I wish I could say the same." I said getting ready to attack.
"Let's get you back to Klaus. Shall we?" He said reaching to help me up.
"No thanks." I said as I went to attack.
"Klaus did say you were a fighter." Kol said blocking my attack.
"When did he tell you that?" Klaus was with me up until about a minute ago.
"He called right after you broke the window of his car." He answered grabbing my arm.
As I was fighting off Kol with my other hand, someone came up from behind me and grabbed my free hand. The surprise made me jump, which sadly isn't very hard to do.
