"Klaus thinks the spell I have on me stops me from being compelled, but that's not it. I can choose which spells effect me and which ones don't." I stated.

"I have never heard of a spell like that." Bonnie stated.

"Its because its only been used once then it was destroyed."

"So what's the loop hole?" She asked.

"Well if a witch tries to undo the spell then a new spell starts effecting me. This one will take away my doppelganger blood and my slayer strength. Removing me from the supernatural world for good. There is away to get around that spell to." I stated.

"How?"

"Its a total cliché. True loves first kiss." I laughed.

My mom did everything to protect me. She also made it so I could be happy. I will never know her, but at least I know she had my best interest in mind. I can't imagine what would happen if Klaus found me sooner.

"Wait so if that's not the reason you can't be compelled than what is?" She asked.

I hesitated for a moment on whether or not I should tell her. Something in me told me I could trust her. That she was a good witch.

"I put vervain in everything. My hair products, hairspray, lotion. Its always present on my body just enough to not be noticed to touch and still protect me mentally. I mix it with other oils mostly tea tree oil and other strong smelling oils." I explained.

"You really have this down to a science don't you."

I nodded.

"Please don't tell them." I begged.

"You can trust me." She said.

"So what are you going to tell them?" I asked.

"That I can't help them, that the spell was destroyed."

"Thank you Bonnie." I said gratefully.

"I know the last doppelganger, so I kind of understand what your going through. Let's go find Klaus." She smiled getting up.
