Chapter 25: His New Plan

"How does this spell have anything to do with you not being able to be compelled?" Kol asked.

"It doesn't, the truth is, it's not a spell that keeps you guys from being able to compel me." I stated.

"Then what is it?" Klaus asked impatiently.

"That is something I will never tell you." I stated.

I grabbed the paper with the information I needed to find the vampire who killed my dad. Before I could open it though Kol snatched it.

"Hey!" I yelled trying to get it back.

"Answer my question." Kol demanded.

"That wasn't part of the deal." I told him.

"The deal was u told us what was stopping you from being compelled." Kol stated getting in my face.

"No, the deal was I told you the spell I had on me!" I yelled back.

"The deal has changed love." Klaus told me.

"Then I'm no longer interested." I stated.

The room grew silent. I didn't want to talk to them there was no way I was going to. I wasn't about to give them the advantage.

"Ah... Kol if it's not a spell can think of anything else it could be?" Klaus said grinning as if he already knew the answer.

"The only other way would be if she had it on her."

"Exactly." Klaus said as if the answer was obvious.

My heart started beating faster as I thought of the possibility that Klaus knew.

"But we checked all her stuff for vervain."

"Ah... but that was only for the plant. We never considered that it was in stuff she brought. We underestimated you."

Damn it! They figured it out I was screwed. The only hope I had left was that they don't find everything I kept it in.

"So your saying she has put it in stood she uses daily? How could we have not smelt it?" Kol asked confused.

"Cuz she is smart probably covered the smell with other erbs. What all did you put it in love?" Klaus asked me.

I just shrugged.

"Fine you don't want to tell us we will just get rid of all your stuff." Klaus concluded.

"Fine I will tell you." I didn't want to lose everything I had. "I put it into my shampoo."

I wasn't about to give up all of my resources so I figured tell them one and keep the other.

"Good girl, Kol want to go grab her shower products and dispose of them?" Klaus asked.

Kol nodded and left.

"Why are getting rid of it all if I just put it into my shampoo?" I asked trying hard to not sound freaked out.

"Cuz I don't trust that you would tell me the whole truth love." He smirked.

Well I had about 36 hours left of the vervain in my hair. I need to act fast.

"So love now that you can be compelled, maybe I should make you a little easier to handle." Klaus thought out loud.

"Once you are able to be compelled again, we will go see a witch about making sure you can't run anymore." Klaus stated.

I didn't know what he was planning, but by the sounds of it he was trying to find a loop hole in the spell.

When I was telling Klaus and Kol about the spell I may have let out that tiny detail about what happens when you try to go around it. Hearing him talk about it didn't make me regret it. Soon enough I would be away from Klaus for good.
