I woke up to some loud screams that echoed off of the face of the mountain. I sat up making my joints pop back into place. I looked at Dwalin who was on night watch. I stood up and walked over to Dwalin. I could see much light coming off of the face of the mountain. We were so close to the caravan, but the rest of the company was tired and I was to. The scream had echoed again. This time it was much louder. It sounded like Kili's. I closed my eyes. He was trying to attract something to him. Kili was a smart lad, he thought things through.

"Dwalin," I whispered. He turned to me. He knew what I was going to ask him. He nodded his head.

"I've been listening. Kili's been captured. We won't attack until the morning," Dwalin replied back. I gave out a small sigh. Another scream cried out. I grabbed my sword as I heard the ground begin to tremble. I looked to the trees near the caravan where I saw the trees begin to sway.

"Goblins," I said. I then walked over to the four dwarves who were resting. I shook each and every one of them up. When most of them were sitting up and rubbing their eyes I informed them that we might have a goblin attack. All of them stood up armed with their weapons. I heard the shouts and orders come from the caravan. It would be a perfect time to go get Fili and Kili. With all of us armed and ready to go we began to run towards the caravan.

I was tired and pained. All I knew was that I needed to take the lashings for Kili. I was tied up to a tree and it hurt my wrists. I was scared and I didn't want to go through the pain. I heard the air being disturbed by the whip and a fresh hot line of pain crossed my bloody back. I hit my forehead on the tree and clenched my teeth together. I then heard a loud scream. Kili! What was wrong with that boy? All of a sudden another breath taking pain crossed my back. I closed my eyes and I began to pray to stop the lashings. I couldn't bare it for much longer. I could feel my body begin shutdown. I opened my eyes. Another scream filled my ears. I was becoming eager to know what was happening with Kili. I heard the guards begin to bustle around in efforts to shut my brother up. I heard the whip slap the air once again and then land on my back. Black spots filled my vision. I kept my head down low and I tried not to make any sudden movements. My ears were filled with an irritating whistle sound. I couldn't hear much going on around me. All of a sudden Kili let out another scream. And after the screaming was done and over with I got another lashing. I was on my fourth whipping. Wasn't I?

All of a sudden I felt the ground beneath me began to tremble. I raised my head up a bit to find the trees swaying. Kili was dumb. He had made enough noise to summon goblins. A bunch of the guards were now fully armed with swords. I looked over at the wagon to find Kili. His eyes were closed and blood was seeping from his forehead. I lowered my head once again making the chains rattle. I wish I weren't in this situation right now. I really wish I was at home with my Mother and Uncle. Why? Why did I have to kiss that damn girl? This was all happening to me because I was a foolish boy. The darkness came over me and I fell unconscious.

We had gotten to the caravan. The goblins had started to attack. I threw my sword at three of them killing all of them in an instant. I ran over to a guard who was holding Kili's bow and using it. I grabbed the bow from him and knocked him down. I bent down over the large man who was stunned by my quick actions.

"Where is my nephew," I questioned him as I grabbed the collar of his shirt. He was certainly confused and then his eyes looked past me. I looked behind me to find a goblin running towards me. His sword dripping with poison. I waited at the last minute to fling my sword. His head bounced on top of the man's fat stomach.

"I'm not going to ask again," I threatened through clenched teeth. The guard pointed a finger to a blue covered wagon. I let go of him and made my way to the blue covered wagon. I then saw what I wish I didn't see. Kili was on the floor with blood dripping down his forehead. His chest was bare and I could tell that he hadn't taken his pills in over six hours. I bent down and picked his limp body from off of the ground. He was heavy, but I could still carry him. I opened the wagon door and shoved him inside. I locked the door and then attacked all of the goblins coming towards me. The goblins weren't that difficult to fight off. Now, I needed to find Fili. Maybe, he was in one of the different wagons. I would just pray that he was. I began to fight my way through a hundred goblins.

I woke up to the sounds of screams and noises of battle. I quickly opened my eyes and sat up. My head was bursting with pain. I just had to see what was going on. I looked through the small window to find my uncle and the five other dwarves fighting. I let out some laughter. I then thought about Fili. Oh Mallah. Where is he? I looked over to the tree where I had last seen him. He was there, but a few goblins had just taken notice of him.
