People from our long gone past
Etched figures that were sure to last.
The left us signs on solid rock,
Representing plants and stock,
Of types not often seen today,
Ghostly remnants on display.
Lessons chipped anon in stone,
Yawning gaps in what is known.
Passionate those artists be,
Home Sapes like you and me.
