Dark road white with rain
Dark thoughts tempered
Tempered by iron and
Tempered with steel
Steel thoughts dark
Steel heart unbending
Unbending, unyielding
Unbending, unwilling
Unwilling to love
Unwilling to feel
Feel the rain caress
Feel the tears slip
Slip through my thoughts
Slip onto iron
Iron forming inner and outer
Iron my core, my skin
Skin protects me
Skin holds in
In thunder and rain
In beating chest
Chest of a bird
Chest of a ruby
Ruby encrusted glass
Ruby shivering, humming
Humming bird of glass and jewels
Humming from star to star
Star's supernovae
Stars sing in iron
Iron my toes
Iron my soul
Soul checkered black and white
Soul flickering
Flickering between fight for right
Flickering flickering all the night
Night brings rain
Night my very world
World of rubies
World of gems
Gems reveal the color
Gems twist the color
Color the world for me
Color it all wings a whirling
Whirling around me
Whirling within my heart
Heart feels flutter inside
