 As I Type

Tippity tap, tappity tip,

My keyboard sang it's song.

Scribbly deedoo, scribbly daadee,

My pen then starts a poem.

I typed and wrote, upon my desk,

Some words with giddy rhymes.

I thought and worked upon the task,

It must be done time.

My fingers danced with a tap-tip-tap,

Until the morning light.

My mind's so tired, my head's gone bland,

My brain had taken flight.

So I took time, a little stop,

To look at something dear.

It never failed to cheer me up,

My unicycling bear.

With my rest done, my pen at hand,

My poem's resumed it's song.

A clickity- click, a tappity- tap,

Thank God, the poem is done.
