I strain my eyes
the old teddy
mocking me happily.
My boss stands nearby
his lips moving
but no words to be heard

Work is loaded
and so is my gun
wanting to shoot
either myself or him.
The overhead bulb
lits my black circles
speakers blasting softly
unlike the old hag.
Who said being an
adult was easy
this job sucked
just like my boss and me.
