<Adda's POV>
---

I jumped back a little from the loud sound the door made when Jilly slammed it. My throat knotted and my teeth began to grit. The faint sound of footsteps began to get louder as two dainty arms, with a strong grip, wrapped around my waist. Lookin down, behind me, I saw Nora. Her red cheeks buried into my side and her tears leaving a wet spot.

"Nor-.."

"Shut up," Nora hissed, tightening her grip around my waist, "Don't talk right now.." Loosening her grip, she turned me around, looking up at me, directly in the eyes.

Her hazel eyes still seemed to have a faint glow of happiness, even though it was hard to see. I pressed my lips together, "You should probably go back inside to reassure Jilly."

"No." Nora snapped, pulling me in even closer making sure that all the space between us was gone. "I rather your apartment over hers." I frowned, of course she's be stubborn though, it's Nora.

After a moment of staring at each other, I let out an exasperated sigh, "Fine." Nora immediately let go and I grabbed her hand, dragging her over to the elevator. Smacking my hand away from the button, she pressed it four more times than needed. "You really are a child, aren't you?"

"Excuse you," she hissed, sticking her tongue out at me. A small smile crept it's way into my lips while we walked into the elevator.

It took only a couple minutes for us to reach my apartment.

As I opened the door, she pushed past me and into the living room, sitting on the couch and patting the spot next to her. "I wanna show you something, or at least I'm going to try."

The tears had stopped and the puffiness in her eyes was slowly disappearing, showing that she was starting to feel better. "What is it?" I made my way over to her, sitting on the couch.

As soon as we made eye contact, my head began to ache and all types of memories that I had forgotten became flooding back-almost as if Nora was shuffling through my head to find something. My vision began to pulse as the headache got worse, "N-Nora.."

Her focused eyes began to close slightly, her body relaxing, "Sorry, Adda." She pat my shoulder, looking at my forehead. A more gentle feeling began to show itself as what I had seen only 15 minutes or so ago reappeared; me looking down at Nora, a red thread-the thread of love-connecting our hearts. Why am I seeing that again? I see that every time I'm with her or near her, why am I seeing this particular moment?

"That, Adda. What's that red thing connecting our hearts?" Nora pushed, leaning in only a little closer, her eyes still set on my forehead.

"A thread connection," I whispered, the soothing feeling beginning to relax my entire body, "The red thread of love."

"Oh? And how are you able to see that?"

"I'm able to see thread connections.." My jaw dropped a little as I looked more deeply into her eyes, "For example... Jilly and your thread is purple, the thread of sisters-even though you're not related to her."

She looked down at me quickly, the soothing feeling immediately leaving my body, letting my sit up straight again. "Can I show you something then? It's something I picked up from someone passing by."

I nodded faintly, letting her focus back on my forehead, the relaxing feeling spreading again.

"It's a vision someone who doesn't even know us saw, someone who apparently can see the future of anyone that makes eye contact with them. I'm not sure, just a wild guess." She mumbled, her focus becoming more intense.

Nodding, I felt my eyes begin to close slowly, a new image appearing in my mind.

"Adda come on, slow poke," Nora laughed, holding my hand.

We were in a field, a field full of yellow and pink flowers and bright green grass. A small creek ran through, the water shining in the sun which was high above our heads. The air smelled sweet.

"Late for what?" I asked, walking alongside Nora as we followed the creek.

"Our picnic with Jilly and ____, duh," She smiled.

"Jilly and who?"

"____." Nora turned her head, focusing on our path and the two people who were slowly becoming clear.

I pressed my lips together, not bothering to ask who. "Right, sorry."

"No need to apologize," she cooed, giving me a smile as sweet as sugar itself. Everything became bright, as she let out a chuckle, "Your eyes dialogues again, Adda."

"Sh-shut up," I looked ahead of us as we came up a plaid blanket set neatly out on the grass. Jilly and a young child, who's face I couldn't make out. Everything else was clear except for this. Why?

My attention was quickly drawn away from the child and over to Jilly who stood up and gave me a gentle hug, "Thank you for coming, Adda."

My back stiffened, why is she hugging me? "Of course!" I laughed out nervously.

I sat down on the blanket once Jilly let go, Nota immediately sitting on my lap, "You're comfortable, ya know?" My eyes widened, she's so outgoing... But all I could do was let out a chuckle.

Time passed and the picnic was fun, everyone was laughing but I still couldn't hear the name of the child or see the child's face as they ran around with a white sunhat on their head with some writing I failed to make out. No matter, I guess.

The sun began to set and Jilly decided to head back to her new home, taking the kid along with her, leaving Nora and I alone. She still sat in my lap, leaning back against me.

"You were more quiet than usual today, are you alright?" she murmured.

"Of course, I'm fine," I mumbled, resting my chin atop her head. She pushed back against my chest with her back, forcing me to lay down and leaving her laying on my chest.

The sky was full of beautiful colors, roaming from blue to purple to orange and yellow.

"It's pretty," she yawned, earning a nod of agreement from me. "Can we move out here? Near Jilly and ____, I mean. Then we can be closer to them again and we can enjoy the sky every night and morning. The stars sure will be a sight to see, too."

"Hm..." I opened my mouth to let out a yawn

snapped back to reality.

Sweat dripped down the sides of Nora's face, "That... That's strange isn't it?"

My jaw had dropped, "What was that?"

"Our future, or something along that line. I'm not are if it's true. Again, I just picked it up from a stranger that I made eye contact with," she looked away form my forehead, meeting my eyes.

"Oh," I breathed out as she rest her head against my shoulder, her back shaking.

"Why is everything so quick, why did this all have to happen to me? Did I do something wrong? Is it just karma biting me in the ass for being such a bitch to everyone in school? These mind powers must be some sort of curse..." she spat out.

"You're just different, and in a good way."
