Alexis' POV

I opened my eyes as my alarm clock went off; I was about to hit the snooze button and just go back to sleep but the I remembered what day it was- it was the day I would tell Conner how I really felt.

I jumped out of bed and picked out my blue polka dot mini dress, I had a long,relaxing shower then slipped in to my dress, I accessorised with a pretty,silver triangle necklace. I had my hair in loose curls, my dark brown,perfectly curled hair hung just above my waist.

I stared at my reflection; my face looked pale and sickly, my eyes had dark bags under them, my face looked terrible. I applied some foundation and concealer to make my skin and eyes look better, I looked much better now, I applied som blue eyeshadow and mascara- now I looked good.

I studied myself in the mirror and I thought I looked pretty damn good- I wanted Conner to think I was pretty but I know that he doesn't really care about things like that; that's one of the reasons of why I like him.

I walked down the stairs in my high,blue heels and pick up an apple for breakfast as my stomach was to full of butterfly's to eat any think else.

"Mornin'" Ralph mumbled tuning his fingers through his bed head hair.

He poured himself a bowl of cereal and ate in silents- we were alone in the house like usual, our parents were never home as they were to 'busy' with 'work'.

"Alexis eat some more, you just got out of hospital you need to eat a lot to keep up your strength." He stated finishing his bowl, what he was saying was true but I just couldn't stomach it.

I'm glad that Ralph's just as cool and collected as always; I was in hospital 3 months ago for a couple of weeks but Ralph alway stayed calm- he was awesome. Every time I had to go in to hospital I always was brave because I took some of Ralph's strength.

I just told him not to worry then jetted off to school. As I arrived at school I was greeted by all my friends and many other people,luckily I'm good with names so I didn't offend anyone by not knowing who they were but I couldn't spot Conner any where. Where is he?

It was now lunch break and still no sign of Conner, what if he doesn't want to see me?

What if he's avoiding me? Oh my gosh, he is avoiding me!

As soon as this thought hit me Conner walked over to me looking like he just found out that he was being charged with treason.

"Umm...Alexis can-can I talk to um you?" Conner stuttered, adding. " In private"

"Yes, sure. I acutely wanted to talk to you about something to." I said with confidence even though I was freaking out inside. I am going to tell him now... I am going to tell him I like him, no mater what.

Conners POV

Me and Alexis walked side by side out of the canteen and in to the deserted hall way(I'm not even kidding, I think I just saw a tumble weed flight past).

Silence fell upon us as we both struggled to say what we needed to. I was going to tell her how I feel about her- no matter what happens and no matter who disapproves, I am still going to tell her.

"Umm... Con-" she was about to speak but I lifted my finger to her lips signalling for her to be quite. Her cheeks flushed a pink color, had I gone a bit passed my limit? was I not supposed to touch her? Oh well, I just wanna say this and I know I'll get rejected but I need to say this.

"Alexis, just let me say this. Okay so I know you said that you liked me by accident but I just need to tell you this." I took a deep breath before continuing. " Alexis, you are beautiful and smart, you blush easily and are shy yet confident, your bite your lip a lot (which is adorable) and when you say things your always whole hearted and these are just some of the resins of why... of why I love you. so I ask you this... Will you go out with me?"

Alexis looked stunned and her cheeks blushed like hell. Adorable.

I'm so sorry it took me ages to write this chapter but I've been really busy, It was the last day of school today so I'll writ mor- hopefully.
