What should I say?
"Umm...kinda?" I mumbled but it came out more like a question. I could now see her turn an even brighter shade of red, wow she actually was so innocent and cute. My heart started to beat faster as I gazed into her clear blue eyes which were full of hope. Wow, did I really like her? No,no, I couldn't, right?
"So... you think I'm c-cute?" her voice shook as she spoke, her eyes still burning in to mine. She really was a strange girl; I thought she'd be used to guys calling her cute, after all she was 'Alexis Cater'- the pretties girl at our school.
Before I could answer a costumed entered the shop which made us break our gaze, after we served that costumers many more came in we were pretty busy till the end of our shifts.
As I was walking to my car (Ashley's car) I heard my name faintly in the distance, I turned around to see that Alexis was running (very slowly) towards me. I stopped in my tracked until Alexis reached me, as she approached me she looked as though she was going to pass out.
"Are you okay?" I asked genuinely concerned, she was now very pail and looked fairly dizzy. I spotted a nearby bench and guided her over to it, I sat her down and waited quietly while she court her breath.
"Yes, I'm fine." She panted in between breaths but despite what she said she looked as though she was going to pass out.
"I love you." She whispered then fell in to my arms, she had fainted.
What the hell just happened?
