When I went outside the classroom. I waited a few seconds, wondering why Kendrick wanted to ask me a question. If it's a dumb question, I will smack him then walk away.
I seen him walking towards me, I looked away, acting like I didn't see him.
"Hey. Camryn right?"
"Yeah. Hey. Kerry right?" I said, acting like I didn't know his name.
"Aha! Kendrick not Kerry."
"Oh, close enough."
"Anyways. The question I wanted to ask you was.." He hesitated.
"You should hurry up because I have to find my study hall."
"Where is your study hall?" He asked, taking my schedule. "Room 101. Good."
"Why is that good?" I asked, kind of concerned.
"Because that's where I'm going. We can walk and talk."
"Okay, talk about what?"
We started walking. It was dead silenced.
"So. Are you going to talk?" I said with an attitude.
"Are you involved with anyone? Like are you in a relationship?"
Am I in a relationship? If I was, why does it matter? It's the FIRST DAY! Boys are boys, they just don't care.
"Um. No"
"Would you like to talk to me? Like on a 'more than a friend' type of level?" He asked, looking down.
I couldn't believe he was asking me this question. Yeah, he's cute and all but I know nothing about him, like nothing personal. And he's already asking me to basically be his girlfriend. I haven't even thought about boys in that way. I don't want to think about boys in that way since that incident happened.
"Camryn?"
"Huh? What?"
"Yes or no."
I seen room 101 up ahead. I started jogging to it.
"I'm going to have to think about it." I yelled back.
He just stood there with a blank look on his face. He didn't even go into study hall, he just stayed outside.
Soon when I walked in the classroom, I seen Davion and the tall boy who kept following me. Both of them were staring at me.
"Ughh! What is life?" I mumbled.
