"Ughh! I miss you so much Camryn. Please come back, it's not the same without you." Diamond, my friend from my old school said. She called me out of nowhere.
She reached out to me, I thought she forgot all about me. She told me that she called my old number and a lady answered so she went to Sprint and asked for my new number. That's what true friends do, she went out of her way to find me.
Diamond been my friend since the 1st grade. We fell off after 'the incident'. She was mad that I didn't call the police. I was only 12, I never thought about doing that at that age.
"I miss you too! Did somebody take me place?" I said, with an attitude.
"Now you know no one can take your spot light skin!"
"I'm glad we're back talking because I thought I had nobody but Granny."
"I started to miss you way too much. I couldn't be mad at you for too long. And how is Granny, I haven't seen y'all in so long." She said, fake starting to cry.
"She's okay. Just regular old Granny. We've gotten closer since I moved in."
"That's good. That's good."
Then I heard a knock at the front door.
"Who's knocking at 9:00 at night?" Diamond said, ear hustling.
"Dang, dark skin. You're listening too hard. But I have no idea. I'm about to go and see." I said, getting up out of my bed.
They knocked again.
"Who is it?!" I yelled.
No one answered. I looked through the peephole and couldn't believe who I saw. What was he doing here? How did he know where I lived?
I was so shocked.
"Who was it Camryn?" Diamond said. I didn't answer because I was flabbergasted.
"CAMRYN!" She yelled through the phone.
Why was he here?
