Already my day been bad. First, I fell on the bus and now, I can't find my first hour.
Bing. Bing. The sound of the intercom went.
"Good morning Tigers! This is your principal Mrs. Collins. I bet you guys are happy for our first day of school, probably not. Anyways, just to remind you all that the first bell doesn't ring until 8:35 and you have 5 minutes to get to each class. The students who went here last year probably remember that. If you're new or you just didn't remember that. I just told you. Thank me later."
That's kinda good because I have 10 minutes to get to class. 15 minutes actually.
"Room 225, room 225." I said mumbling to myself as I'm making my way down the hall.
"FRESHMANNNNN!" I heard somebody yelled. As I turned around to see who it was, I seen a group of, I'm guessing seniors, running towards me.
I just started running too. I didn't know what to do. They were catching up to me fast but I was faster. I haven't ran this fast since I was in the 3rd grade. I felt like I was getting chased by some wolves. I hit a corner so hard, they couldn't keep up.
Soon as I lost them, I was out of breath. This school was so childish. That's the type stuff I see on movies. Not actually in real life.
I started back looking for my class.
"Are you lost?" I heard a little voice say.
Damn. Not another senior. I thought as I turned around.
"Yeah. A little."
"Let me see your schedule." She said as I handed her my schedule.
"Room 225 is downstairs. I can walk you to it."
"Okay. Thanks." I said. She doesn't seem mean at all. She's just a stubby, black girl with long black hair.
"Oh, by the way, my name is Anastasia. I'm a sophomore. What about you?"
"I'm Camryn and I'm a freshman, but that's obvious." I said with a chuckle.
Anastasia chuckled too.
"So, where are you from? You are a really pretty girl." She said as we went up the steps.
"Thank you and Jerseyville." I said with a smile. My day was finally going good.
"You're welcome. That's kinda far. But now that you're here, let me give you some pointers on this school. First, don't every buy a elevator pass from ANYONE. I don't care what they tell you. It's a trick."
"Okay okay, no elevator pass."
"Second, don't be nervous. Just be yourself like you was with me. It's some good people here. Third, the boys here are so immature, especially the seniors. If they say 'aye gal, come here with yo fine ass' don't go."
"Wow. They actually say that? So childlike." I said laughing. She can definitely be my friend.
"Yes! So annoying." She said laughing. Her laugh is kinda cute. It sound like a one year old laughter.
"Well, your class is the second door on the left. I have 5 minutes to get to class and I don't want to be late on the first day. Let me put my number in your phone. If you need any help, just text me"I pulled my phone out of my pocket, she took it so quick.
"I will text you so you have my number also."
"Okay, bye."
"Bye, Anastasia."
I looked at my phone and see she saved her number as "Anaaaaaaa" with a lot of cute emoji's. She was a cool person, and pretty. Very pretty.
I made it to my classroom, smiling. Soon when I walked in, I saw him. The same dude from my bus. My smile instantly went away.
"Awwwww. New girl, we meet again." He said with a smirk on his face.
