Oh No The Barn

Chapter 4

------Lilaka's POV

"Does anybody know where Lori is?" I asked. I went up to Carol and asked her if she knew she said no. I went outside and found her on the porch. "Why are you outside?" I asked. "I guess I need some fresh air," she replied. That made me laugh "Well Lori there is no fresh air any more." I said with a smirk on my face.
"I know but there has been something bothering me." "What's in the barn?" she asked. Oh crap I can't tell, I thought to myself. "Uh... I don't know," I lied. I can't believe that I lied to Lori she was kinda like a mom to me.

I went inside and found Hershel and told him about Lori. "I wonder why she wants to know about the barn?" Hershel wondered out loud. I didn't care anymore so I went to look for Carl. "Carl!!" I yelled, "Where are you!" "Over here Lilaka!" Carl yelled back. I followed his voice to his tent. "Hey!" I said. "What's up why were you looking for me?" he asked. "I don't no I am just bored." I replied.

-----Carl's POV

Why was she looking for me since she was bored. I mean yeah there aren't any other kids here, but I'm her boyfriend. "Well come here I found some pictures of us in school," I said. "Oh wow those are from kindergarten till 7th grade!" Lilaka said in astonishment.
"I am just soo glad that you are right here in my arms, and not dead." I told her. "Me too," she replied. The dinner bell rang right as I was about to kiss her cheek, but I did anyway.
"What's for dinner?" I asked. "Spaghetti!" my mom said excitedly. Everyone smiled, except Hershel. He didn't seem too happy about having everyone in his house.

-----Next Day
-----Lilaka's POV

When I woke up I heard yelling coming from outside. "DID ANY OF YOU KNOW THAT THERE WAS WALKERS IN THE BARN!!" Shane yelled. "We thought this place was safe but it turns out that are freaks in the barn!" he continued to yell. "If we don't do something they might get out and kill us all." he started to quite down.

I came outside and saw Shane giving everyone a gun. "Here you take this," he said to Carl giving him a gun. "But my mama said I can't use a gun." Carl stated calmly. " You can't have guns on Hershel's farm!" I yelled at him. "I don't care." and right at the moment Shane said that Lori came out. She was mad as ever to see Shane giving her son a gun after he refused.
We all heard moaning, groaning, and snapping coming from the path. So we turned to see Rick, Jimmy, and Hershel holding walkers on chains around their necks. "What the heck are you doing with walkers on chains?!?!" Shane yelled obviously mad at his friend.

We all went to the barn. After a while of yelling and killing one of the walkers, Shane finally cut open the chains on the barn. All of Rick's group lined up and shot down all of the walkers coming out, including Hershel's wife. When they did that Maggie and Beth started balling their eyes out.
After a period of silence ONE last walker walked out. "SOPHIA SOPHIA NOOO!!!" Carol yelled and tried to get to her but failed because Daryl stopped her. Laid on the ground crying and so did Carl. I comforted him. I shocked to hear the gun shot that killed her, but I was even more shocked to see who did it.
