15. Oh It's That Day?! Really?!

Kat's face blanked as she stared at the mess of hormonal teenagers in front of her."Oh.....It's Valentines' Day......" She said in a monotonic voice.

Yuki laughed awkwardly as she scratched the back of her neck,"Did you actually forget that today was Valentines' Day Kat Chan? Don't you have plans tonight with someone?"

"Well yeah,"Kat shrugged, and said disinterestedly," I don't really care too much for this day. Plus I have no one to spend it with besides you guys!"

Yuki sweat-dropped and looked at Kat in exasperation,"That's not what I meant....."

However, Kat wasn't paying attention to Yuki, she was too busy yelling at the fan girls."HEY YOU HORMONAL BEASTS!! DO YOU THINK THE NIGHT CLASS LIKE BEING CAGED IN BY DESPERATE HOES LIKE YOU!! YOU'RE PROBABLY SCARING THEM AWAY!!" It was like a bomb went off, the second those words left her throat, all the fan girls ran away. Kat turned to Yuki with a smile,"I'm sorry Chibi Chan!! What were you saying?"

Yuki sighed, but smiling and shook her head,"Oh!! Nothing important!!"

Yuki was saved by the bell, since the gates to the night class opened. Aidou skipped out and smiled jovially"Good morning my fellow loves how-hey where are all my fans!?" Aidou shouted in anger, his face set in a pout.

Kat smirked and shrugged,"I dunno I guess they ran away in fear of your ugly ass face." The night class chuckled at Kat's reply, while Aidou huffed and held his head high.

"Oh my dear Kat, you're just jealous that you aren't as beautiful as I!"Aidou stated confidently,while Kat propped an eyebrow up and put a hand to her hip.

"Oh sweetie, if we were having an ugly contest, you would win hands down." Kat said with a smile.

Aidou smirked,"Why thank yo-" He paused, and the viewers all chuckled as Aidou glared at Kat and shouted,"HEY YOU TRICKED ME!!"

"Oh Aiodu if you keep spewing nonsense at thin air, you're gonna be late to class." Kat replied innocently.

"Aidou, Kat is right." Kaname said, honing his stare on the blonde, making him freeze and line up with the class, muttering a'Yes Lord Kaname'. Kaname turned towards Kat with a smile,"Thank you Kat for all you do." He turned to Yuki and nodded,"Thank you as well Yuki."

While Yuki became a blubbering mess, Kat mock saluted Kaname and stuck her tongue out comically,"You got it dude!" Kaname chuckled, ruffled her hair and walked away. Kat stood frozen for a few seconds, and suddenly asked,"Hey Yuki...........Where's Zero?"

Kat hummed to herself, an old forgotten lullaby as she walked around the forest surrounding the school.

The words came like a river to her mind. Her already having the lyrics etched into her mind recognized the tune, and her body swayed to the mental melody

Her mind traveled back to the days of her youth, the days where she was an innocent child. The days she was nothing more than a daughter, a friend, a cousin, and a sister.

Days when she didn't have to worry about invaders terrorizing her land, slaughtering her people, threatening her children.
