Elsa (This is before Jack flew into her room)
I was trying to practice my powers. I wasn't that good yet. The only thing I could still do was the snowflakes. Other than that, I still have to wear my gloves to prevent myself from turning the castle into an icy dome.
After a few hours, I hear someone knock into my door. It's probably Anna. She'll stop in a few minutes so I ignored it.
Instead of going away, like I predicted, it became more persistent. I frown; this didn't happen before.
I sighed. Then, I hesitantly open the door. One of the servants were outside. Her eyes were red and puffy. She was crying.
"What's wrong?" I ask, frowning deeper. The maid makes a grab at my gloved-hands, gripping them tight. I tried to pry them away but she held on, still sobbing, "Princess... oh Princess." she sobs.
I could feel my hands get cold. I yanked the away from the maid and leaned towards her more, "Please. J-just tell me whats wrong." I say. She looks me in the eye, her gray eyes filled with sorrow and moist with tears. Okay, this is freaking me out. Something is wrong. I can feel it. But I don't know what. If only she would tell me.
"Please.What happened?"
"Y-your parents," she stutters and I feel my blood run cold. "What about them?" I exclaim.
"T-their ship s-sank. T-t-there were n-no s-sur-v-vivors." that was all she managed to stutter out before she started sobbing and shaking. "I'm v-very sorry." she says before running off, leaving me alone.
The news rendered me speechless. My mind tried to comprehend the news.
My parents are... dead?
How can this be? How can they be dead? I quickly hid in my room, sitting on my bed. I nervously wrung my hands together. This is insane.
If they really are dead, then who will rule Arendell?
My eyes widen as I realize the answer. No.
No.
I was next in line. I would have to rule Arendelle.
I can't! I'm not even capable of controlling my powers. How do they expect me to rule this kingdom? Of course, they don't know about my powers. None of them does, besides my parents.
My parents. They're dead. A pang of guilt quickly spreads inside me. My parents are dead and all I can think of is myself. I'm horrible daugther, I mentally slap myself.
The guilt quickly forms into another emotion though. Loneliness. My parents are dead. The only people who knew about my curse. The people who guided me through out my life. They are gone.
At the moment, I felt so much emotion, pain, sadness, despair. But it was also mingled with fear. Tons of it. What do I do without my parents? I ask myself.
I tried to control my fear. It isn't good. The troll said that fear would be my worst enemy.
Conceal, don't feel, Elsa. Conceal, don't feel. I told myself.
I clench my hand into fists, shutting my eyes shut. Conceal, don't feel. Conceal don't -
"Oh, look. It's the lonely little princess." a sinister voice utters. My eyes open wide. I looked around my room, "Who's there?" I ask.
