Chapter 13

Amanda pov...

I still have a week before I have to go back to work. I have decided that I am going to take Xav to Canada for a week so that I can clear my head have a break with my son before I go to work.
I'm glad that at the moment Liv is going to let me work four days a week and I have the other three at home to spend more time with Xav.

I know that Xav won't remember this trip so I'm not doing much. We spend the time walking around, looking at the views, shopping, going to the museum and the aquarium. I had fun and Xav seemed to enjoy it as he didn't cry much and would smile a lot.

The trip was great as we got to do a few different things and I didn't take much notice to what was going on back home.
When I was thinking I realised that I can take care of Xav myself with the help of the team from work if I need it. I have to head home today but I know that this trip was good for me and I could get over some of the thoughts of Declan, I know we weren't that close but I thought he would always be part of our life's but I should be able to cope without him.

After a really good week away it's time to leave to get back home at a decent time as I have work tomorrow. I pack up everything and check out of our room at the motel.
I pack up the car and get Xav ready so we can start the drive back home.
We get in the car and I start the car and leave to head home.
