Chapter 8

Liv pov...
I was shocked when Amanda said that Declan is Xavier's dad, I would never have that that Declan and Amanda would be together.
The door opens and Declan walks in and I say to him"congratulations on your son"
He smiles and says "thanks"
I give Xavier to Declan so he can hold his son. Declan gives the toy giraffe he was holding to Amanda and says "here is a toy for him so that he will have something from his dad as I won't be around much when work sends me on undercover jobs.

Fin, Carisi and Dodds all come in the room. I can see that Fin is surprised that Declan is here and I don't know if the others know who he is. Declan says "hello" and looks at Fin and says "nice to see you again"
Fin nods and Dodds asks "who are you?"
He says "I'm Declan Murphy, I'm Xavier's dad"
I smile at the look of surprise on Fin's face  and Amanda laughs.

We all stay talking for awhile before Declan gets a call about having to go back undercover in Russia this time. He doesn't know how long for this time.
Declan leaves and Carisi asks "how does your relationship work if he is undercover?"
I say "well it's not a proper relationship we just meet up when he is around"
Dodds asks "is he around much?"
I say "no"
Carisi asks "doesn't it bother you?"
I say "no, we get together to talk about how things are going, he likes to make sure that I am staying off gambling"
Dodds asks "so was it not a romantic relationship"
I laugh and say "no, that was only one time as we had nothing to do and stuck together during the blizzard"
We stay talking for awhile until Xavier starts crying and the guys all leave. Liv stays behind and helps me to calm Xavier down.
