~Ally's POV;~

Dear Diary,

I've just moved back to Mystic Falls after a whole painful year of being away! It feels so good to be home! When I did live here before I went away, I had great friends; Matt, Bonnie, Jeremy, Tyler, Caroline. And my bestest childhood friend, Elena. Me and her were inseperable at the time, always playing outside, sharing secrets and laughs. Then my mom got offered a better job in New York which meant we had to move, I remember the day I left, crying like a little child, hugging all my friends never wanting to let them go. All the tantrums I had as we drove to New York, I never wanted to make new friends, I loved my friends from Mystic Falls too much.

I'd constantly whine every day about mom going to work and taking me from my friends, as I grew up I didn't moan as much but still argued with my mom about her constantly being at work, then she passed away a month ago. It seemed like it was only yesterday when dad came to my school and took me out of lessons, he broke it to me slowly and carefully. I remembered crying in his arms and refusing to talk to anyone for days. I love my mom more than anything, and miss her so much, words can't begin to describe.

Dad couldn't take living in the house anymore, it was full of too many memories. That was when he made the best offer I could never refuse. He asked if I wanted to move back to Mystic Falls! It was a definite hell yes. I know mom loved it in Mystic Falls and would of wanted us to come back to our hometown. So we did. Now here we are, sitting in our new home, in Mystic Falls. I'm so happy to be here, it's home. I'm now off to reunite with my bestest friends, after such a long time.,

I put my pen down and smiled, grabbing my coat in excitement I sent all four of my friends a text,

"Guess who's back in Mystic Falls, and for good! Meet me at the grill?"

Putting my phone in my coat pocket I gave my dad a kiss before walking to the front door. "Dont make it too late!" He called from the kitchen, I muttered "I won't! Love you, bye!" Slamming the door shut behind me I walked as quickly as I could down to the Mystic Grill. When I got there I entered slowly and saw the shocked faces of Bonnie, Matt, Caroline and Elena, they all cheered and ran towards me, as we all did a group hug.

They all circled around me and yelled "How? Why? When?" I laughed and muttered "Well, dad wanted to move back and how could I resist?" Matt picked me up and spun me around, squeezing me tightly. Then I hugged Caroline then Bonnie. Elena smiled at me and said "Your back for good?" I smiled and confirmed "For good." She laughed and hugged me, I hugged her back, never wanting to let go. The group knew how close me and Elena were so they understood how much this hug meant to us.

We pulled back after a few minutes as I smiled happily at all of them, these were my true friends. I never had friends in New York, they never understood me, I was different, always talking about irrelevant things and how I was interested in supernatural entities. But these four people loved me for who I was, and that makes them the greatest friends of all.

Interupting my thoughts a new voice joined us and said "You must be Ally, Elena's told me alot about you." He smiled warmly at me as we all turned to him. He looked god-like, pretty hot. His hair was a light brown, his face was a pale colour, complimenting his dazzling green eyes.

I then realised I hadn't answered him and blinked a few times before saying "Yes, nice to meet you...?" Elena smiled and muttered "This is Stefan." I smiled and shook his hand slowly. He wrapped his arm around Elena's waist, Elena did always get the hot ones, I was happy for her, they looked perfect together. But a part of me was thinking 'Damn, he's taken. He's so hot.'
