Damon's POV;

I placed my book in my lap and grabbed my glass of bourbon, drinking it down I slammed it on the table and looked at the clock. Where was Stefan? Maybe the woodland critters did fight back this time, maybe they took him to the hills and ate him.

I let out a laugh at my thoughts before getting off of the sofa and grabbing my phone, dialling Stefan's number and ringing it. After reaching his voicemail for the hundreth time I knew something was wrong. I grabbed my jacket and headed out of the door, dialling Elena's number as I headed towards her house, hoping he was there.

Hearing it ring a few times it cut off again, she was ignoring me, so mature. I knocked on her door impatiently when she finally opened it, I walked straight inside and out of the rain. I stated "You're ignoring me." She answered sarcastically "The 6 missed calls? Sorry my phone's dead." I rolled my eyes and asked urgently "Is Stefan here?" I turned to her as she folded her arms and muttered "No. Why? Is there something wrong?" I gulped and looked at the floor, where was he?

I answered "He went out to the woods and didn't come back. I can't get him on his phone, I figured he was here with you." She pulled out her phone and dialled his number before placing it to her ear, hoping for an answer. She pulled it away and said with worry "It's going straight to voicemail."

I sighed and felt worrying thoughts enter my mind, about the tomb vampires, how some of them had escaped and moved to the creepy little house at the edge of the forest. Had they took my brother?

Ally then oddly entered my mind, causing me to frown and ask Elena "Speaking of people disappearing, where is Ally?" Elena frowned and muttered "She said she was going for a walk, I assumed she just went home." I clenched my fists and asked impatiently "Did you try calling her?" Elena shook her head and answered "I thought she'd want some space, she never answers her phone when she's clearing her head." She dialled Ally's phone number in before lifting it to her ear and waiting.

I prayed she was just at home, safe and sound, sleeping in her bed. I hoped she had no part in this, she was too innocent and fragile to be involved in me and Stefan's past.

Elena gasped and pulled her phone away, she whispered to herself "She's not answering her phone." I gulped in worry, because I now knew that the both of them must be with the tomb vampires. I stared at the cream walls of Elena's house, thinking the worst.

Elena's voice interrupted my thoughts "Where could they be?" I exhaled slowly and muttered "You're not gonna like what i'm thinking." I looked at her worried face and walked out of the door and to my car, feeling Elena hurry beside me. Once we were both inside I drove quickly down the path and headed straight for the little house at the edge of the forest.

When we arrived, pretty fast due to my amazing driving skills, I turned to Elena and ordered "You stay here." She nodded slowly and watched me leave the car and run past the remaining trees and up the porch steps, coming to a stop outside of the door.

I thumped on the front door repeatedly and growled into the wood, blocking me from Stefan and Ally "Pearl! Open this door or I swear to god i'll bust through and rip your head off." The door opened slightly, revealing a man's face, he muttered "Pearl's not home."

The man peeked outside of the house and said "Beautiful weather. Not a ray of sun in the sky." I stared at him and asked "Where's Ally and my brother?" He pushed the door wide opened and called over his shoulder "Billy."

Two men stepped out from another room and into the corridor, dragging my brother with them. His face was contorted with pain as he met my eyes and let out a whimper. I frowned in sympathy for my brother and stepped forward to the door frame, grinding my teeth together in anger.
