Ally's POV;

I opened my eyes to the sun shining through my open curtains and into my room, I swung my legs off the side of the bed and yawned before getting up and walking over to the mirror, examining my body. I checked my arms, legs and neck to find that they had healed, no open wounds, no blood, no cuts. Thanks to Damon and his healing blood.

I saw his caring side last night and I liked it, although the bad side is really hot, I definitely prefer the sweet, caring side that wouldn't want to see me hurt, that would come and save me, feed me his blood, stroke my cheek like I meant something. It made my heart flutter just thinking about it.

I then noticed my hair was up in a bun and covered in my dry blood, I wrinkled my nose in disgust before walking to the shower and getting in. After washing through my hair and body I got out and dried myself off before getting into a red tank top with skinny jeans and my converse.

I then walked downstairs and into the kitchen, making myself a coffee and sitting at the table with my phone. I saw that I had 3 missed calls and 1 message, all from Elena. I opened the message and read;

Hey Ally, I hope you're feeling ok. Me and Stefan are fine. Matt asked for you, Vicki's body got found yesterday. I told him you were ill and asleep so you would just see him today or something. You coming to school today?x

I answered with a smile;

I'm alot better, thanks to you and Damon for saving us. I'll see him today, yeah i'll be over in 5. x

I finished off my coffee then grabbed my bag and walked out of the door and down to Elena's.

When I got there I stood at the bottom of the porch steps and waited for her to come outside. I stared at my shoes when I heard a voice greet me "Hello, Ally. Look how much you've grown." I looked up slowly and saw John Gilbert come to a stop infront of me. Elena's uncle, he had always been a jerk.

I put on a fake smile and said "Hey John. Well seeing as the last time you saw me was a fair few years ago I'm bound to have grown up." He grinned and asked "I thought you left Mystic Falls?" I muttered calmly "I did but now i'm back. I thought you left?" He answered with a smirk "I did but now i'm back... for a little while." He walked up the steps and knocked on the door as I muttered under my breath "Great."

I watched as Elena opened the door with Jeremy and Jenna behind her, they all looked surprised and not in a good way. Elena said goodbye before walking around him and down the steps, pulling me into a hug she asked "You ok? I'm so sorry them vampires did that to you." I shook my head and answered "It's ok, i'm alot better, Damon gave me some of his blood so i've pretty much healed." She whispered "I was just so worried." I pulled away and gave her a smile then hugged Jeremy as he jogged down the steps and into my arms.

I hugged him close and whispered "I'm sorry, about Vicki." He shook his head and mumbled into my shoulder "It's not your fault." I nodded and pulled back before walking beside them towards school.

I asked "So how long is John staying?" Elena sighed and mumbled "He said he doesn't know yet but I hope he's gone soon because he's annoying me already." I laughed and questioned "What's he doing back here anyway?"

Elena answered "When I opened the door he just said he had to come down for some business then decided to pay us a visit." I nodded and mumbled "That's gonna be fun for you, especially Jenna, she hates him." I laughed with Elena as we all approached the school building and walked through the double doors.

Jeremy walked straight down the corridor and away from us as Matt opened his locker and said "Hey, guys." I gave him a smile and a hug before saying "I'm really sorry I wasn't there for you." He shook his head and muttered "It's fine, honestly. You're here now." I smiled and nodded before walking down the corridor with them both.
