Chapter 17 - The Miss Mystic Falls Pageant and Stopping Stefan.

Ally's POV;

I woke up the next day with a feeling in the pit of my stomach that today was going to be good, I hoped so.

After a shower I wrapped a towel around myself and walked downstairs into the kitchen to see another note, sitting on a box with a bow on top. I rolled my eyes and walked over to it, the note read;

I know things have been hard for you, and i'm so sorry, sweetheart. I love you so much and I hope you can come to forgive me. This is just a little something I spotted in the shops and I hope you love it. I'll be at the pageant later to see you dance. I love you. Dad. x

I smiled and placed the note to the side before untying the bow and lifting the top half of the box off to reveal a red strapless dress, it was beautiful.

I gasped and lifted it out of the box and infront of my body, I loved it. I let out a laugh of excitement as I placed it back into the box and walked upstairs into my bedroom. I first tried it on and looked in the mirror, I gasped at how the dress colour suited me well and how it suited my figure, my dad had extremely good taste. I smirked at my thoughts and got out of my dress, putting it back into the box.

I then got dressed into a casual pair of skinny jeans with a black tank top and my leather jacket and converse to travel to the Lockwoods, then I would get changed into my dress there. I had packed a bag, with makeup, hair clips and a hair curler.

Once I was ready and it was time to go I slung my bag over my shoulder and picked up the box with my dress in before grabbing my house keys and walking out of the door and down to Elena's.

I knocked on her door and waited a moment before she opened it with a grin on her face, I hugged her tight and smiled into her shoulder before pulling back and asking "So, what's happening tonight then?"

I walked inside as Elena shut the door behind me and whispered "Alaric's coming to pick us all up and then we're gonna leave Jer in the car with John." I gaped and whispered back "That's cruel, on Jer, I mean." She shrugged and giggled as the doorbell went again.

Elena opened it and said with a smile "Hey." Alaric gave a small smile and greeted back "Hi." Elena muttered "I heard you're driving." Alaric nodded and mumbled "Yeah, I am. Let me get those for you." He took my box and bag along with Elena's dress as I said in unison with Elena "Thanks."

Alaric stepped inside and shut the door as he muttered quietly "How is Stefan?" I frowned in concern as Elena asked "What do you mean?" Alaric shrugged and mumbled "You know, he seems on edge." Elena answered "He went through a lot, he was in bad shape for a while but he's back now." Alaric nodded. 

John then jogged down the stairs and said "Alaric, hey buddy what are you doing here?" Alaric smirked and muttered "I'm the chauffeur." John frowned in confusion and asked "I thought I was driving?" Jenna skipped down the stairs and said with a grin on her face "No need, we're going with Rick."

Elena smirked and asked "Are we ready?" I nodded and walked out of the door with Elena as Jenna mumbled "Jeremy can drive with you." She shut the door and walked over to Alaric's car as we all started laughing.

When we arrived at the Lockwoods I took the box and my bag and said to Alaric with a smile "Thanks for the lift, Rick." He nodded and mumbled with a smile "Anytime." I smirked and followed Elena inside as Mrs. Lockwood greeted "Hello, ladies. Please do come in and make yourselves at home. Be sure to be ready by the time of the dance."

I nodded and walked straight into the first room, and straight to the bar as always.

That's when his voice appeared from beside me "Thought I might find you here." I smirked and mumbled "Ditto." I turned to Damon with a smile as he sat on the stool beside me with a well fitted suit on, he looked gorgeous, as always.
