AS I ROUSE FROM A HEAVY SLUMBER I AM first aware of the coolness of the air and it's loamy fragrance. The ground is lumpy as if I were on a bed of earth and rocks.

My clothes feel as damp as a flower in the dew of the dawn. I half wonder if I'm still dreaming as I sit up to take in the shafts of light that burst through the gaps in the leaf canopy above. Wait? I looked around now fully awake and panicked. "Shush," I heard a voice call out to me and I jumped up.

Looking back at the bed I examined that someone was in it with me. Slowly approaching it I lifted up the comforter. "Ugh, Gem what's wrong?" I heard Sam groan as he turned around.

"How in the hell did I get here?" I asked Sam looking around his room. Every time I tried to remember what happened it would gave me a headache. "What you mean how the hell did you get here? You came here on your own option. Just admit that you find me irresistible," Sam groaned rubbing the sleep from his eyes. I raised an eyebrow at him still confused.

"If I did don't you think I would remember?" I asked him and he shrugged. My eyes then glanced back at his wall clock and I froze.

10:00 AM

My mother is going to kill me. My eyes then went to a sleeping Sam.

"Get up! We have to report to school."

I walked out of the shower to see my clothes on the bed and a note to it. I read it smiling.

🏻Well I heard the shower running, so I thought you guys were taking a shower. I know Sam and he might like you a lot but scared to say so. I really don't want no grandkids as of now so you guys take it slow or use a condom. Even though I really want to be a grandmother well not now at least. Maybe when you guys graduate or finish college. I brought you some clothes since you stayed the night. I called your mom earlier and she was worried but I told her that you was okay. Don't be late.✍🏻
