18.
The plane ride felt longer back. I sat with Caleb the whole way, even as his tears dried. I honestly think this is some sort of test; they have to be soul mates. They're in love, besides the whole concept of love, you can't get anymore simpler.
I was currently sitting in the school library desperately trying to concentrate on the math equation before me, but my mind kept drifting to the conversation from this morning.
We have been back in school for two days now when Felucci called the Rouge's and bodyguards to an emergency meeting.
There we were informed of Eric and his father's, Henry, plans. They have combined forces with many demons, witches, sorcerers and more unnamed creatures.
Eric had some demons to track me down - which of course they did not succeed, because if I do not exist, there's no war, and they win. So get rid of me, simple. We don't know their intention, but it is because of them and their allies we are going into war.
Pretty much, this war is good vs. evil.
Cliché right?
So anyways, they have tightened security around us all and Emery put more on me. It's annoying and creepy to know that just because you don't see them, doesn't mean no ones there.
"Raven, I know your there," I breath, willing the question to solve itself.
"How?" he said coming out from behind one of the book shelves.
"You breathe like a dog," he was panting as if he hasn't drunk in days. "What do you need?"
Giving up on that question, I peer at the answer, x=-123, how do you get that?!
"Funny, I'm just, you know seeing what's up?" he pulls out a chair to sit in front of me.
"I am going to kill him! Does he not trust me? Or the other 15 guards in here? Don't you think he's overreacting just a little bit, Eric has barely tried anything, and it's only what that other kid saw?" I yell, it was getting annoying, one of the freshman's is a sorcerer and while performing something with fire, it kind of spoke to him saying threats for me, the kingdom, blah, blah, blah.
"He's just worried for you," he sympathies, I huff and slam my textbook shut, it's not like I'm getting anything done.
"Yeah, well what if I'm worried about him! We have the same powers and screw his other 'characteristics' he's still vulnerable, we all are!" I get up and shove my books in my bag throwing it over my shoulder.
"Where are you going?" he asks, still sitting.
"For a walk, and don't follow me, anyone." I add as I saw the shadowed figures coming closer.
I went to the only room I could think of: 'Battle A'.
'Battle B' is where the common students train, while 'Battle A' is for Rouges and body guards only.
It's really the 'Power and Defence' room, P.A.D.
Throwing my bag on the floor, I quickly stripped, putting on gym clothes and running shoes thanking whichever G-d there was out there, I was alone.
Inside, I was able to release all energy I have withheld. Controlling the elements, that could be dangerous, but frankly, at this point I do not care. It's not like anyone in this school is really mortal. I think.
Creating a twister from fire with ice shards sprouting sideways, winds hurling everything in sight, the ground shaking and splitting, raising me above on a podium; is the greatest stress reliever.
