Chapter 9

Alex POV

"I am sorry Alex " Riley held the icepack on my cheek. "No, It's fine. You were upset. Trust me I get it. I know the pain. You felt like you were cheated on" I sighed and smiled at Riles. She took it off and placed it on the table. "Babe?" I looked at her. "Have you ever been cheated on?" Riles wrapped her arms around my neck. "Yep, I thought I loved her,until I saw her and my boss kissing in the break room. The was the girl that kissed me today" I looked down and leaned my head on her shoulder. I felt her nod. " But she is in my past and trust me I would pick you over her or any girl in a heart beat". " Good. Because I would do the same for you. " Riley said and placed a kiss on my forehead.

" I don't know what else to saying but your pretty fucking dope just so you know... I been thinking about ways that I want to hold you close" Riley sang while in the shower. God Damn her voice was amazing. It made my heart melt. I heard the shower turn off and I got up from the bed and leaned against the door frame. "I'm feeling your attitude, that's east coasting baby..." she was still singing along to fifth harmony. God she was still adorable. I love- no wait I like Riley a lot. or Do I love Riley? I don't care right now. I care about hearing her sing.
She opened the bathroom door to see me smirking at her. "What?" she giggled and walked around me to her hamper. "Nothing it's just I never knew you could sing " I went up and wrapped my arms around her waist. " No, my voice is bad" she put her hands on my arms. "Babygirl, your voice is amazing. Its like an angel singing from heaven" I kissed her soft pink lips.

Riley POV

" Come on babe " Alex said wanting to cuddle. " I am doing my hair  angel " I turned on the blow dryer. I heard her voice in a muffle but I couldn't hear it clearly. I then saw Alex appear in the mirror and wrapped her arms around me. I turned the blow dryer of and turned around to face her. " I am trying to do my hair" I putting my hands on her face. " and I am trying to cuddle with my girlfriend " she pecked my lips. " In 1 minute" I smiled and patted her cheek before finishing my hair.

I was wrapped in Alex's arms. I felt safe and warm in her arms. God I loved-... no I liked being in her arm's a lot actually. Maybe I do Love Alex. We were just watching Stranger Things on Netflix but I could pay half attention to it cause Alex kept whispering little nothings it my ear. with almost everyone she kissed behind my ear. "Babygirl" I turned to face her. She looked at me. "I love you" she said.  My heart stopped.
